Description
The professional NDI ScanConverter for macOS, with Audio, Region of Interest and other pro features - such as Multichannel audio. From industry leaders Sienna.
NDI ScanConverter broadcasts your Mac's desktop or application windows over IP Video using the NDI protocol.
You can select to either show the entire screen, or just a single window of any application, which is alpha keyed to easily composite on your NDI equipped vision mixer, for example NewTek TriCaster with NDI support.
The NDI stream is very high quality, Selectable as 1280x720, 1920x1080 full HD or scaled to the window size, and runs at full frame rate for smooth display. You can also select a cropped Region of Interest portion of the screen to send over NDI.
Audio is also supported. Visit the support site at http://sienna.tv/ndi for instructions on setting up your system sound to allow broadcasting of your computer's sound output (rather than a sound input device).
Note: Turn on the "Auto Refresh" checkbox to track window changes live - for example when taking an app fullscreen or starting a powerpoint presentation.

Full Bandwidth NDI
Excellent piece of software that would be more resilient in real-world situations if it supported NDI HX using the Apple HEVC hardware encoder built into more recent Mac's, in order to have more robust and reliable performance over WiFi. But, otherwise, this application does do what it is designed to do and it performs well over WiFi, so long as you have sufficient WiFi bandwidth anyway.
Does Not Open, Keeps Quiting
App was working well, it suddenly does not open, it quits when i try and open it.

App is great, and Sienna/Mark Gilbert very helpful
I am using two NewTek Tricasters…a 460 and a Mini HD 4SDI, and otherwise work exclusively with MacBooks, so need an NDI method of making my laptop screen images available as NDI sources in the Tricasters. This app is recommended by NewTek. When I first encountered a problem with sizing of my macbook screen images in the Tricasters, I contacted Mark Gilbert for support, and he was extremely helpful and patient. Problem is solved and macbook screen images working well in my Tricasters— thanks very much Mark and Sienna for your help and a great product.
