Nearly is a simple way to create smart location reminders.

Simply add a location by searching, entering an address or long-pressing on the map and Nearly will notify you when you are nearby. When you open the app from a notification, tap the car icon and you'll immediately get driving directions in Maps.

On the home screen you'll see all your location reminders sorted by distance and color-coded so you'll know what you can get done nearby.

Nearly is great for reminding you to
- Buy milk
- Pick up your dry cleaning
- Return that DVD rental to the store
- Refill that prescription

Nearly also supports todos that aren't location specific, so you can keep all your todos and location reminders in one place.

Nearly is made by the power/cool/nerdly app team known as RYONI:

- Ryan Kaminsky

Simple app does what it advertises. Great also for keeping track of locations if you have a job on the road makes keeping track of visited and still to visit places easy

Great idea, somewhat confusing execution.

Love the idea, i’m just wondering if it’s how the app is built but I cannot seem to delete completed or current locations/tasks. The idea sounds great, but the apps needs more work.

I'm not sure what to make of this app

I just set a location, went to the location and did not receive a reminder. I made sure that in settings my location is enabled for this app. Also, it says in the description that when you are near a location and get a alert you can open the app and click on the car icon to get directions... If you are near enough to the location for the alarm to go off why would you need directions? The interface is clean, and seems easy enough to use but, I'm confused as to why it didn't work.

Update:: I think I needed to enable background app refresh for it to work.
