Disappointed, but love the service

So many things have changed when I first started using NEAT. I bought an original invoice/receipt scanner. Then the app came out. It wasn’t great, but it was doable. Took forever, but was better than waiting to get home and use the scanner w the desktop.

Now there’s an update, and things are quicker, but I’m so tired of capturing a photo, go to unfiled folder to edit, move receipt to a folder, then it locks up. I literally have to get get out of the app, reopen it, go back to the unfiled folder to go to the next receipt. This is ridiculous. Instead of going smoothly and quickly, it takes just as much time as before.

I really hope this can be updated to make this easier.

Awful auto capture and complicated receipt folder placement.

I’m not sure what Neat was thinking regarding this new app. It is truly awful. Trying to use the picture mode to upload receipts is so difficult I’ve abandoned that process. I now take a photo with my phone and upload. Trying to use the auto picture you need a contrasted background and that’s not always an option. At times I’m on a flight or at a restaurant with white tables. And then it need to take the photo of the whole receipt which at times is far away and then you can’t read it. Don’t know why you can’t still have the crop feature if needed.

Forget about no longer being able to go into a file on your cabinet then upload a file into that folder. Not you need to capture the receipt and then go to the captured receipt and move it to the desired folder. Time consuming and bothersome.

Very disappointed with the new app. I have no doubt I’m not the only one.

Thank you again for submitting your feedback! You asked and we listened, manual capture is now back in the mobile app! When launching the application, you can simply toggle between turning Auto capture on and off. Now all of your documents will be in your Neat account exactly as you want.

Customer Service By Danie

Today after my brand new ND1000 unit was taken out of storage and need to be put to use I contacted customer service. I was directed to purchase a plan and then was transferee to tech support where my rep was Danie. Danie was very informative and patient as I am not very tech savvy. Danie got me up and running, helped me set up my mobile access and helped me with any and all question and showed me examples on the system and I can assure there were many. This was the best customer service ever. After my old archive files are accessible, I know I can reach out to customer service without reservations and get the best customer service. Danie has set the bat very high!!! Thank you so much!!
