The Nemours app is now Nemours Children’s MyChart. For existing users, your username and password will remain the same after you update to MyChart, and all of your child’s health information will still be available. While the look of the screens and the location of resources may be different, if you already use MyChart at another organization, then you will find a familiar experience. Changing to MyChart allows Nemours Children’s to offer more functionality and new features that were designed with you in mind. The MyChart mobile app requires iOS 16.2 or later. Here's what's new: Meal Menus - Families visiting Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware can now view the weekly menus for the cafeteria as well as menus for the Marketplace Café and Einstein Brother's Bagels. This information can be found in the "Explore our Locations" feature on the "Where to Eat" page.

Here's what's new: Pharmacy Notifications in DV - Patients who use the Nemours Delaware Outpatient Pharmacy for their medications will now receive notifications when their prescriptions are ready to be picked up. Epilepsy Feature - We now have a new section of the app for our patients with epilepsy. It includes articles, videos, information about support groups, and a new seizure diary you can use to keep track of seizure activity directly in the app. Speak to your epilepsy care team if you’re interested in accessing this information.

Diabetes patients now have access to a new area of the Nemours app full of helpful education from KidsHealth, nutritional information, support groups, and printable logs. The diabetes feature can be accessed by selecting the patient from the home page, and then selecting the Diabetes icon.

Here's what's new: Hospital Maps - You can now access maps of our Delaware and Florida hospitals from directly inside the Nemours app. Just look in the menu or search for "Maps". Expanded Menu and Search - We have made more features available in our search and menu. Not sure where to find something? Just search! Expanded Text Messaging - We are continuing to expand our use of text messages in addition to emails for communicating with our families. If you prefer one over the other, you can change your preferences for how to receive system messages by going into your profile (circle icon with your name in the top right corner) and then Settings.

You can find the symptom checker on your home page in the Help, My Child is Sick or Hurt feature. We are converting more and more of our notifications to include SMS/text. Remember that you can change how you receive notification by going Menu >> Settings >> Update Nemours App Settings.

Here's what's new: You're probably familiar with the emails we send to let you know when you have a new message in the app. But sometimes it can be a struggle to find the new message once you're at the in-box. Starting today, these emails will now link you directly to the message in question.

Here's what's new: If you are having a scheduled video visit with us, you will now be required to go through our Get Ready flow to ensure we have all of the information we need for your visit. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early for your video appointments so that we can see you promptly! Based on usability testing, we've updated our app menu with a handy search and a more intuitive structure. We've improved the layouts of our Test Results, Communication Preferences, and Provider Information screens.

You now have access to a Communication Preferences section (under Settings) where you can see some of the communications we send you. We will be expanding this functionality going forward to give you more and more control. Questionnaire Trends - There is a new section called Questionnaire Trends in your Health Records section. If applicable, you can use this to see trends in your responses to questionnaires. (This is most commonly used today in Orthopedics, where you may regularly complete a series of questionnaires called "PROMIS".)

Here's what's new: Link Your Accounts - If your child is seen at another hospital, you may now be able to link your account so that you can view information from the other hospital directly within the Nemours app. This includes information like allergies, medications, messages, test results, and more. Use the "Link My Accounts" feature from the menu!

We've improved your Nemours app experience! User Experience Improvements to Toolbar - For the first time since we launched the app, we've made some significant user experience changes based on user feedback and data analytics. This includes the following changes to the main toolbar that appears on the bottom of the screen on mobile devices and in the top right in web browsers: Our new "Visits" button will easily lead you to information about upcoming visits, past visits, our urgent care video visit service, and the ability to schedule a visit. Our new "Billing" button will give you quick access to your important account information. We have renamed "Quick Links" to "Shortcuts" for more clarity. We changed our "Family" button to just show the name of the current selected user or patient. You can use this button to change settings, go to an individual's dashboard, or change whose information you are viewing. Our Visits section now has additional filters and the ability to use a grid view or a list view for your convenience. We renamed our "My Nemours Story" feature to "Preparing Your Child." Use this feature to see stories that can help prepare your child for a visit to Nemours. Keep an eye out as we continue to grow our library of stories.

We've improved your Nemours app experience! Two-Step Verification - The theft of health data is an ever-growing problem, and the security of your information is critical to us. Two-factor authentication is a great way to help further protect your data. We have added a new, optional two-step verification process. The next time you log into the Nemours app, you will be prompted to turn on this feature, and we encourage you to do so. You can also enable or disable this feature at any time through the Settings screen. New Featured Videos - May is Mental Health Awareness month. Check out the Health Library section of the app, where we have some new Featured Videos from our KidsHealth® team about your child's mental well-being.
