Update for background play

I would rate this app higher but it turns off audio when you move the app to background. While spending 20-40 minutes of my time listening to tones it would be great to be able to read, catch up on email, or play game but the minute you shift app focus, Neosensory turns off.

Tinnitus

Used the device daily for 6-7 weeks. Their claim is that most people start to notice some relief after 3 weeks. Nothing for me. Not even the slightest relief from the perception of tinnitus. The monthly chat with the audiologist was awkward & felt like I was working with someone brand new in the field. Maybe I didn’t know the right questions to ask. But I felt like the appointments didn’t offer much. I measured my wrist prior to ordering the device because I have very petite wrists. The device did not fit snug on my wrist like a watch & so I have to slide it up my arm a bit. I was told this would not em negatively affect the results of the sessions. It’s a bit confusing because some of the company’s info says 10 sessions & other times it says 15. I typically did my sessions for 20-40 minutes. When calling the help phone number it goes to a google voicemail. I tried the text help & the 1st attempt took awhile for someone to reply. The 2nd time no one replied to me. This device is probably great for people who want sound alerts. From my experience it does nothing to help relieve the perception of tinnitus. Incredibly disappointed.

So cool

I have cochlear implants and I can’t always hear what people say, not to mention my cochlears are Bluetooth so I can’t hear what people say when I’m Bluetooth. So this is really helpful. Highly recommend. I also like how you can turn it down so when your walking and swinging your arms it doesn’t sense the wind and buzz. The modes are also really cool. When I got completely deaf the first thing I was scared of while sleeping was not hearing the fire alarm. This thing conquers my fear. Awesome
