My Solar Power System
I have been trying to find out how efficient my system is, not just by my bills, but on a daily basis. I finally Googled my battery manufacturer (Tesla) and found this app. Lo and behold, it provides me with just the information I was looking for. Now I can make sure that my batteries are prepared for any outage and still keep my power bills as close to zero as possible. Because I live in earthquake and flash flood territory, I chose a battery level of 50%, so I feel I’m prepared for most cases. Thank you, Tesla and your programmers! I love your app and it is so easy to use. Keep up the great work. I also love my installation company, Renova Solar. They have the best management and excellent staff! I would recommend them to everyone.
Amazing app and support
I’ve always been fascinated with how things work and the data inside that brings life to these devices. Stumbled upon this app accidentally and realized that it’s what I’ve been looking for. I thought about making my own system to access the gateway, like I’ve seen some people do online, but it’s a bit beyond my purview.
Had some trouble accessing the gateway directly through the app, but the developer support was fantastic and helped me sort through it. Highly recommend this app!

Fantastic App
I've had my Tesla Powerwall for a couple of years, but only learned about the NetZero App for Tesla a few months ago. The Tesla algorithm does a good job, but doesn't take into account particular preferences a user might have.
The NetZero App has been extremely helpful in controlling the Powerwall in in a way that better suits our situation.
I really appreciate how I can vary minimum charge levels throughout a day.
The only two suggestions I would make to the developers is for the user to be able to:
1. set a Maximum level the Powerwall might charge to at a particular time of day (There are times when I'd like to delay solar charging of the battery)
2. easily export to the grid from the battery in a once off fashion (Our retailer offers very high prices per kWh from time to time if there's tight electricity supply).
