New Roots Fresh Stop Markets 4+

Thousands of community members are purchasing affordable, farm-fresh, organic and chemical free produce through New Roots Fresh Stop Markets. New Roots is a nonprofit food justice organization. Our vision is that everyone in our community can access the farm-fresh food we ALL need to be happy and healthy. What is special about Fresh Stop Markets is our income-based sliding scale. Everyone pays according to what they can afford: $6 for families using SNAP Benefits, $12.75 for other families facing limited resources, and either $25 or $43 for all others. This app will guide you through the process of determining where you fall on the sliding scale. Every share (bag) of produce contains 8-9 varieties of farm-fresh, seasonal, organic and chemical-free produce from our local farmers. You can also order pastured-eggs separately. The app allows you to choose your market location and lets you know the date and time for pick up and/or delivery. We have seven biweekly markets to choose from. Each market pops up biweekly. Over a 22 week growing season, you will receive 11 bags. All you have to do is put in your payment (SNAP Benefits or Credit/Debit) and the system will automatically charge you up front, two weeks in advance of your pickups. You can also access plant-based, healthy recipes and stories from the New Roots blog, as well as receive updates on happenings including new cooking videos, farm tours, and other fun events. Remember, New Roots is a small, grassroots nonprofit organization, we are not a big store. By signing up for your share, regardless of what you pay, you are helping your neighbors eat well and uniting communities to spread food justice across the land.
