Well put together and thought of app
I am so glad I found this app since using it has been nothing but a world of knowledge and fun.
I highly recommend it to everyone in the Fishing community and the hunting community.
It has everything one can ask in more.
Thank you so much for creating it.
yours truly George Barnes.
Everything is right at your fingertips, no need to go through the booklet anymore. Plus everyone has there phone on them, not everyone has the rule book with them. They need to update the youth hunting seasons from 2016 to the new year
Seems good in theory
Seems like it would be good, but has a few major flaws.
Should note, that I intended to use this to scout publish fishing access easements.
Seems like you have to literally be in the area with rod in hand to populate the map with access spots nearby. Not great for preseason scouting.
Cannot just open a map of the state and see pins with access points and explore from there.
The “Where to Fish” tab for streams is just a list of stream. I have no idea where some of these are, and would like to see a map version of that list for the entire state.
Overall, the app could be useful, but it would be great if DEC made access data public as a KML file so a person could populate more powerful GPS apps like Gaia and OnX with their own layers.
