So happy that my favorite series is back! Our famous characters return for another mystery of murder, suspense, and intrigue. I love how the setting takes place during one of my favorite time periods - the 1950s. And no - I'm not near that old, so stop saying, "What an old chick!" Just kidding. The characters are appropriately dressed, and the cars reflect the time period. The graphics are clear and contain many shades of different colors. You can customize your settings by checking on or off the desired options. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The journal is one of the best ever; you can see for yourselves how good it is. Even the voiceovers are nicely done. The teleport map is also the best ever; it indicates available actions and what locations you can collect something. The puzzles are simple, varied, and relative to the storyline; I love to find parts of symbols! There are some nice background animations, such as curtains moving upon touch and lamps lighting as you pull its strings. You have various collections, and they can be challenging to spot. Don't forget to check under the Menu to find things. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick; no glitches as usual. Overall, kudos to this developer again!

Steady plot, searches that make sense, intriguing mini games. This is a good series. I prefer two of the Lost Lands series episodes better, but these all have the same refreshing storylines that are both cleaver and creative. One detail that makes the Five BN games stand out are that you can use certain found items throughout the games. The logic nature of the play keeps me coming back.

I loved everything about this game except I wish there were a variety of HOP or HOS. The only kind in this game are going into the scene location to find pieces that you can use alone or that go to something else that leads to the item you end up with at the end HOP and they’re all found by searching for the shapes of items shown in shadow. This is not my favorite style of HOP but I don’t mind having some like this. I do however really love the developers who are taking their games a step further by giving us a variety of different types of HOP in one game. I love everything else about FIVE-BN games as well this one, but it seems for some reason they’ve stopped releasing new games in the iOS format because it’s been ages since a new game has been released. That would be a real shame since we’re already limited to getting quality HOAG to play on our tablets, which in my opinion is the best way to play these games vs the pc versions and FIVE-BN has always offered us qualities games in this genre and format! I still highly recommend this game and would give it 4 1/2 ⭐️ if possible!!!
