In the new app, when you leave the app and come back later, you are still signed in. On the old app, whenever I left even for a moment I was logged out. This feels like a security flaw. I haven’t tested out how long you stay signed in for, or if you’re timed out at all ever

I reviewed this app when it first came out, and it hasn’t gotten any better. Needing to switch between personal and business accounts still means I have to completely re enter my login credentials EVERY TIME I log in! The camera used to only glitch out once when trying to deposit a check. Now it glitches out two or even three times a session. The app still stays open when you minimize it or sleep your phone — an unaddressed security flaw. The old app was SO much better, more functional, more user friendly… and none of that has been addressed for YEARS by NSB

I have both personal and business accounts, so I use the app frequently, but the new update has rendered the app useless since I can never log in, and after deleting and reinstalling several times, I have finally given up. Instead, I saved the login page from the internet to my home screen and used this to log on with no issues. My spouse, who has only personal accounts, has no issue logging into the app.I start with the only slight improvement I found with the new app. Instead of switching between my business and personal logins, I can actually import my business accounts into my personal profile and see everything on the page.I don't know who thought any other so-called update was a great idea, but they need to go back to the drawing board and start by gathering feedback from actual customers who use the app. Here's my list:1. Get rid of those annoying and redundant notification banners at the top of the page that you have to constantly close out upon every login. We get it; Zelle is available, and we can click on the account tile to view account details. This should be a one-time alert where you have the option to view it once and never again.2. Please make the home customizable so customers can arrange it with features that are important to them. The Accept Payments menu seems permanently planted above the actual account menu, and this is a feature I have never used and will never use. I should be able to place it lower on the page, or better yet, remove or hide it.3. Please fix your server issues so that we can actually use the app.4. Make the NSB banner thinner; there is way too much padding at the top and bottom.5. Offer a feedback button so users can give feedback!Personally, I prefer the older version of the app. It was more user-friendly, offered better use of screen real estate, and, most importantly, I never had issues logging in. Even the color scheme offered more contrast, which made things easier to find. The whole purpose of the app should be to make viewing your accounts and banking easier.In the mean time, PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD APP!

This new app is such a significant downgrade from the old app. I can’t even deposit checks without the app constantly logging me out right after taking the pictures of the check. Can no longer turn on/off my debit card from the app.The UI is horrible and the charges are displayed in a way that isn’t immediately clear where it’s coming from. A cluttered, dis functional and lack luster new app.
