Live View – See what your car sees with the always-on camera from anywhere in the world. Set custom alerts and check your car’s feed to show the inside and outside of your vehicle, when at work, sitting at home, or halfway around the world ,the iQ has you covered. Intervene with voice or an alarm, so you’re always in control.
Smart Sense Parking – Park with confidence. Your iQ detects threats using Spatial Awareness and custom-trained AI to monitor movement around your car and record the footage., including Such as potential break ins, a car backing up too close, or people loitering around your car. Intervene from anywhere with voice* or an alarm to act before anything happens.
Witness Mode – Never face danger alone again. Simply say “start Witness Mode” anytime you feel on edge, in a road rage incident, or if you’re pulled over. Your iQ will lock onto the incident and share live footage with a trusted contact so they can step in and help.
Guardian Mode* – Stay in control with Guardian Mode. Set speed and location limitations on your iQ and get a notification if your car breaks them. Tap into your feed from your phone and talk to whoever is driving. Guardian Mode can provide reassurance if a family member has borrowed the car, or if you have given your car to a valet or mechanic, so you don’t have to worry about the ‘what if’s.

Pretty Buggy and works inconsistently
The software has a ways to go to be a reliable dashcam. The audio on the dashcam does not work when in streaming mode. I’m a software engineer and the dashcam is infact not easy or simple to setup. I believe it would be if the features worked as intended and didn’t require restating, resetting, rebooting, etc to finally get through setup. The rear camera rarely works and I the error messages received are not helpful at all and cryptic. Unfortunately there is not much documentation either. Several of the advertised features are also not available.
The software and app need work
Let’s start first evaluating the camera: I got the 4K version, the camera itself is very well built, you can definitely tell it is a hight quality camera. I have been using it for almost a week! The first thing I noticed was the camera wrongly switching from parking to driving mode in red lights, and then switching back to driving after minimum of 7 minutes of driving back and notifications of detecting movement inside. That should not happen. It should not enter to parking mode while driving. The parking move should be delayed to at least 5 minutes or more of no movement to prevent the camera from doing this. Or to monitor the GPS for any movement itself, or better yet, the movement of other cars while driving with the AI. The other issue is with the app layout, showing the 3 cameras in a small frame, the primary on top, the cabin and the rear aside from each other. If the rear camera is not connected, then it should not be shown on the layout. Instead, the primary and the cabin view should show one under the other one making it more usability friendly. The location/map should also match the appearance of the system. For example, I have my iPhone 15 pro max on dark mode, then the map should be shown in dark mode theme as well. Also the camera should make use of the Bluetooth (for example, the Garmin LTE dash cam) to detect when the phone is about to enter the car so that the camera doesn’t send notifications of people entering or the door bumping. It should have an option to reboot the system daily on a scheduled time when parked. This way it will clear any errors that the camera can present. In conclusion, the video quality, LTE connectivity and camera is excellent, the cabin IR night view is definitely the best in the market, you can see the cabin super clear at night. Another feature I love is that the camera barely uses any energy or almost none when parked; it is super efficient with the radar technology! I’m happy with my purchase. The software definitely needs work, bugs fixes. It is not in its prime time yet!
