This is the ONLY app on the planet that makes the competitor pay to see the results. No where in the history of sports have competitors who have spent hours training, paid entry fees and fuel costs, taken time off work to attend, then tried to perform the best they can, have then had to PAY to see where they fall in the competition. If that wasn’t bad enough, probably because people weren’t paying the subscription fee, they added early access to exhibitions IF YOU PAY the subscription fee. I think the owners of this company forgot that barrel racing only grew when the “slow” people, who are also not the wealthy people, got an incentive to compete with the D system. Luckily not a lot of producers use this app and I hope it stays that way. Personally I avoid NextGen barrel races unless there’s no where else to go, or I know that the producer will post the results quickly.

Update: It looks like y’all changed that because up until recently you could NOT see the final results without a subscription. Your response is appreciated but misleading.

Hello. Thank you for expressing your concerns with the app. However, you can view results when the event is ended free of charge on the Nextgen app. You are only paying for the live results. We also do not charge the rider to enter the events on Nextgen. If you are having issues with entering, please always call our office and they will be happy to help you. 903-287-7852

It never fails. Nearly every single time I use this app to enter there is an issue or a glitch. Not to mention the expense it costs to use all the features of this app. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I told a friend the other day I was about to not to enter another barrel race that used NextGen for entries. I ended up entering another barrel race, and again there was an issue. So frustrating. It’s fine for entering anything you don’t have to pay for such as a rodeo where you pay fees on site, but this app has cost me an excessive amount of time from having to call customer service in addition to unnecessary extra fees. I’m over it.

Hi! There is no fee when entering when using NextGen. The fee you might be talking about is the credit card fee, which is charged and paid to the credit card company, not Nextgen Rodeo. Our staff is always happy to help you when you need 903-287-7852.

I’ve been using this app since I started rodeo, used to it was fantastic, I had no issues with it, but the more it updates the more the want you to pay, let me tell you what when I pay $115 to run and I have to pay $20 to see results and then I DONT SEE THEM, so then my run time is not available to me because I don’t pay $9.99 a month and on top of that I can’t call tech support because they don’t work weekends which would be fine but that’s when %90 of athletes need them. So I think it’s a little wild to set your off days to those who wanna receive their results and can’t. So done with this app it’s unreal.

Hi! NextGen provides tech support for the producers and each producer can post the live results. Maybe for this particular event there could have been an internet issue. Please reach out to customer service and we are happy to help you locate results. (903) 287-7852
