Nice G.O‪.‬ 4+

After being stuck in ‘offline’ mode for the mighty mule app for over a week, I was excited to try this one. Was easy to set up and I have had 0 issues since switching. Load time is faster and I like the interface better. Only complaint is that I can’t figure out how to make my husband an owner instead of a guest so he also has access to the open/close logs and power to change things without me needing to hop on and do it. But if that’s my only complaint I think we’re doing well!

The app works great most of the time however at the most inconvenient times it shows offline. I still get notifications when someone opens or closes it but because the app is offline I can’t control the gate when we’re away. I’ve written this same review in the past and I figured I’d wait for an update since there are many reviews with the same complaints. I thought it was fixed but two days ago it happened again, luckily I was home so I did the re-pairing process before we left. Sporadically app shows offline but notifications still work, next day it’s back online. Come on techs, what’s going on?

Nice G.O. Is fine, but Mighty Mule (MM) is always disconnecting. I can bet my life on having to reset the WiFi portal 3 times a week minimum. Also, the remotes work 70% of the time (from a distance of 10 feet). Any farther and they won’t work. Replaced batteries with no change. Sometimes they drop completely and have to be reprogrammed. This has only happened 10 times in 6 months but it’s still a pain. My wife was trapped inside the gate because her remote unpaired and the phone app disconnected. Getting multiple remotes and a keypad all working took several hours over multiple days. Save yourself a headache and buy a ghost gate opener. My brother heeded this advice from me and has had ZERO issues in 2 months. Right now I’m installing a ghost and need to open the MM and can’t because the WiFi module needs reset again.
