this is a feature complete version of Nice Timer 2. I will still maintain this app but I won't be adding any major new features and I will not support it on the future versions of macOS so if you have macOS 10.13 or later please check Nice Timer 3 in the Mac App Store instead of this one :).

Dear User,
this is a feature complete version of Nice Timer 2. After 6 years of free updates I am moving on to its new generation, Nice Timer 3. I will still maintain this app but I won't be adding any major new features and I will not support it on the future versions of macOS. If you like Nice Timer and want to enjoy the latest and greatest features, please consider upgrading to the new app. If you decide to do so, it will be a paid upgrade for you but it will make it possible for me to further develop the concept. I built Nice Timer 3 with love as a completely new app, from the ground up. The biggest new features are:
- add to your desktop as many timers as you need,
- customize freely not only the size but also the shape of the timer,
- use in-line time editing and customize timer presets.

A Good Start
Desperately needs the feature of being present on all virtual desktops, rather than stuck on one whilst user switches between their desktop screens. Additionally, for the price, more features can be packed in to pull in users from opting for a free timer. This may be the option of saving certain settings in a personal list, inclusion in the nofitifaction sidebar, etc. Other than these two improvements, iti s a straightfoward and nifty timer.
It’s ok
Would probably be better as an app/extension that runs on the taskbar. Should have full customization of colors for background and text. Should come with a more traditional alarm/buzzer sound.
Pretty good. Doesn’t look like garbage like literally every other timer available.
I like how you can right click on the time and change it to a new value for those times when you want to add more time to a previously timed event.
Customizability is limited to a handful of presets. It would be better if it worked like the Terminal app, where you can set the color and opacity of the text and the background independently to any color you want.
The app icon should reflect a digital timer instead of an analog timer.
The main display is not quite vertically centered. The numbers should be moved up a bit.
