The Nielsen Mobile Panel is your opportunity to be a part of the research we do here at Nielsen. This panel helps us understand how consumers use the Internet and mobile devices by studying the websites and apps people like you visit. By installing our app either on your smartphone or tablet, you are contributing to the measurement of the digital landscape and are eligible to earn rewards.

Before downloading our Nielsen Mobile App you must first sign up using our registration form, which can be found at https://computermobilepanel.nielsen.com for the United States and https://mobilepanel2.nielsen.com for Australia, Germany, Italy, and Japan. Completing this qualifies your devices and indicates your permission for us to collect demographic information such as age, gender and household information, which is a prerequisite for participating in our panel. Once submitted, please download this application to your smartphone or tablet. (If you have not completed our registration form, this app will not function and you will not receive rewards).

With your help, Nielsen and our clients will better understand mobile device trends such as app usage, website visits, and how much time is spent viewing content. In addition, the App collects and transmits encrypted user data back to Nielsen, such as your location, device identifiers and cellular signal information for research purposes. We do NOT collect user IDs or passwords. Your mobile activity will be anonymized and aggregated along with thousands of other participating panelists before any reports are shared.

It’s the best

I love how I can earn rewards just by having it on my device. I especially love that I don’t have to read a bunch of emails or sign up for anything or purchase anything in order to earn. I just wish I could earn the rewards faster. I would also like to add I’ve been a member since October 2014 I have the app and use it on my iPad when I first installed it I noticed it did seem to slow my device down. Then I found that my device wasn’t slowing down because I was running this app in the background it was running slow because of all the other apps I had been using were still running in the background not to mention all the web history and data from my web browsing just like on a computer every once in a while you have to clear out the cache and remove the junk files. So for those who claim this app caused their device to slow down try shutting down apps running in the background. Clearing out your web browser history, try deleting some of the past text messages you have stored on your device because it’s easier

Easy to use

I’ve been with Nielsen app for awhile and I have no complaints . It’s easy to download on your phone and had no issues there even with my new phone. I only had to contact support 1 time as couldn’t remember my password and they were great in a quick response and got me the help I needed. I have not cashed out on rewards yet as I’m letting it build. There’s nothing to do just use your phone and let the rewards begin to build.

Unprofessional company

I have attempted to sign up with this on 4 different emails. Each time awaiting your responses to ask me things I already clearly told you. Only to finally be told after 7 days the email would no longer work. Even though I clearly stated I clicked the link and set the account up. Not one time did you ever ask me what sort of device I was using. I had to figure it out on my own that an iPhone 6 is not a compatible device. Absolutely asinine. You should be asking that. Even when I get my new device next week I won’t be signing up with your panel after this headache. Try being a bit more professional.
