Bug Fixes and performance improvements
Ratings and Reviews
Have been using the service for a few months. I initially loved it for the convenience, but the company is prone to errors (never picking up clothes, charging before service even started, not responding to emails). I've found the weekend to be the source of the errors, where the weekday is more reliable. What really is bothersome is the lack of hospitality when an error is made (Mistakes blamed too often on "outdated app" when it was up to date). I would not recommend this service if others are available.
The best service for working professionals.
I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to write one to recommend this team to everyone in Boston. I used NimNim for two years in Boston before moving away and have to say that the responsiveness, hands on service and flexibility are the best.
The team did an incredible job of responding to every question or request I had. They learn and know exactly how you like to interact with them. For me, I just needed the problem of getting the laundry done reliably every time. They just took that off my plate and off my mind.
Whenever there was a problem, the founder, Nimish personally saw to it that things are made right. With laundry service, I think the most important thing is the integrity of the service and NimNim team was a group of guys that I could trust. There are a lot of wash and fold services but at the end of the day, you want to know that there is a person behind the brand that you can trust in case you come across anything.
Oftentimes because of my difficult schedule I had to miss the pick up times and the team was always so gracious to accommodate. Also unlike some of the other services that are out there, the window of times are so much more flexible. I could have her dropped off and picked up at the earliest hours or at the latest of hours.
If you’re a working professional low on time, I highly highly recommend these guys.
Ruined my clothes, ignored my complaint, then lied to me
First (and only) time I tried using NimNim a silk shirt with fringe was completely ruined. Clearly not properly dry-cleaned as the fringe came undone (which should not happen, and had not happened in the past, with dry cleaning). I made a complaint about my ruined shirt as soon as I got it back, including emailing them with pictures. They said they would get back to me and I heard nothing back. I called again, supposedly spoke with one of the founders, Nimish, who was very apologetic, said he would Venmo me money for the shirt (as it was a very nice shirt that unfortunately is no longer sold and thus can’t be replaced), would refund me for the dry cleaning, and also give me $50 NimNim credit. I was indeed refunded for the dry cleaning, but have not credit or any compensation for my destroyed shirt. Terrible quality, terrible service, liars. Stay away if you care about your clothes.
