In a distant future, spread across thousands of colonies, the empire is under attack from a mysterious, unknown sickness that is affecting people’s minds. So far, you’ve been able to remain healthy but you don’t know for how much longer.
As one of the few survivors of this bewildering plague, it’s up to you to seek out and destroy the enemy that unleashed this madness. If you don’t, there remains no hope for your planet or your people. Are you prepared to tackle 31 missions and destroy the heinous foe?
This is not a job for wimps. No Gravity is fast-paced and full of action. You’ll need to draw on your deepest level of calm bravado to succeed in these dangerous missions.
When you’re ready, choose your character and one of six customizable ships. Each one is equipped with an impressive array of weapons, so you’ll have plenty of tools at hand for the job. Whether you need lasers or ion blasters, everything is there to help you win the war against your hostile enemy.
Once in your ship, you’ll fly through space, skimming over six different worlds, moving along underground craters and through massive asteroids fields. You need to keep your wits about you or it’s game over before you’ve accomplished your mission.
You’re not alone out there, though. Allied ships will accompany you through the hostile space stations, help you destroy enemy bases and clear mine fields. As the mysteries of the surrounding space unfold, be prepared to unleash your firepower on anything that gets in your way. You must be unstoppable in order to save your people.
It’s not all hard work. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of entertainment. There are massive explosions, an assortment of ships and weapons, 2 difficulty modes and you can even take on your missions in the first or third person views.

2019 Now. This is still really bad, at least on Sierra - Not just bad. I mean it flat out doesnt work and the store just gave me the update. Best of luck to you on this one Don't even take it for free! Why is it in here? I thought the App's in here were somehow sanctified and at least mariginally functional. I hope that when Apple finally decides it’s okay to sell virus-ware, it wont be packaged in games that look fun to play. Clearly nobody has ever bothered to Check if this works - What else isn't checked?
STILL Needs Attention
Even at 1.0.4... it's STILL very broken. Though you can fumble through the interface enough to customize controls to set up keyboard control (my version had the "a" key for everything on launch by default), even fumbling through the interface to do that customization is a chore. You can use the arrow keys and the return key to get around the menu, but mouse interaction with the menus is spotty at best. That said, once you spend the time to get the controls customized, it doesn't matter anyway.
Upon finally trying to start a new game it tells me to select a save slot, but won't let me actually select one. No amount of fumbling with the interface gets me past this point.
At this point I think I can safely say that this is the least tested piece of software ever to grace one of my machines. I have the game on PSP and really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt... but seriously: save your money at this point.
Until the developer even bothers to put some real time into testing this title, I just cannot recommend it. It's a shame, really, because the actual game, while not fantastic, is relatively enjoyable. The problem here, specifically, is a lack of any serious effort to make the game work properly on THIS platform.
Don't let the screenshots fool you: this title is still not ready for prime time.
Fun game yet needs some fixes
I just got this game and I it think it is fun, but $7 for a game like this is to much to charge. I have played many more fun free apps that are much better than this. The main problem I have with the game is the map that shows where I am on the playing field. It is just a bunch of random floating dots that do not help me at all. For new buyers of the game, wait, it is not worth spending $7 for a game that needs to be fixed. If you read some previous reviews, there have been many more problems reported with the game that I have not encounterd yet, but sound horrible. In my opinion, do not buy this game until it is only $3 or less. If you need a fun app, get Angry Birds.
