Nodes: Connect Dots to Relax 4+

Like everyone else I wanted an alternative after NYT vertex shut down. I understand the subscription option and ads but that’s not the problem here. The puzzles are less inspired, colored and overall unique compared to NYT. the buttons hitbox are too small making it frustrating at times. Landscape mode (horizontal) on iPad is unsupported for some reason. And finally, even with sound off the game turns off music playing on your device when opening it. Please take these things into consideration. This game can become something great with some time! Thanks

I was excited to find this after the NYT shut down their version. Aside from the ads which are long and annoying, this is quite similar. However the touch controls need a lot of work. I have small fingers and still I have to enlarge the puzzle to its maximum before my gestures are correctly followed. It also often tries to direct your swipe or gesture to the wrong anchor. With the puzzle zoomed in so far you totally lose the overall design, which is a large part of the fun of this game - to try to figure out what you’re building while you build it. As is, you’re just connecting dots, the result of which you can’t see until you’re finished, and after watching a 30-second ad.

As for the ads, we understand they can be disruptive—we’re not fans either. However, they are necessary to keep things running smoothly.

I’m use to the NYT vertex game. I was hoping this game would be like that. It is, but at the higher levels ((as the developer explained) the shapes maybe polygons of different shapes and not just triangles. It adds a complexity of difficulty but it’s not as relaxing as just connecting triangles. That’s my problem. I’m sure others will find it very enjoyable

Thank you for your feedback. In the higher levels of our game, not all shapes will be composed solely of triangles; this is designed to add different levels of difficulty and variety to the gameplay. Our app is still new, and the content is manually created, so it will expand and improve over time.
