Simplistic and accessible

Anki must be used properly. What does that mean? Use it coupled with other learning avenues. It is supposed to used in a way to enhance your learning, not entirely substituting everything else for it. Watch YouTubers on how to use Anki for Japanese learners, this is one the best ways to learn how to use the app. I am currently learning Japanese and I have subconsciously learned quite a bit from regular practice twice a day, even surprising myself with what I knew, because I actually first thought the app was not helping my skills. Kanji practice is great, I am drawing out each character and then on the other side of the note card I write the Romanji as the answer *not the English answer. So overall, 1. use it for quick practice, do not make this your only learning avenue. 2. Use Anki folders to separate card amounts, (DO NOT PUT OVER 20 Cards in one deck if you expect results, you will bored yourself. Have subjects that you want to study and separate into different decks. I really recommend studying only 10 cards a day… do not burn yourself out trying to cram 30+ cards a day.) 3. You have a canvas option which dramatically helps with Japanese learners, and I’m sure for other things you may find useful. 4. I love how quick, easy, and most importantly aesthetically pleasing it is. I HATE LOW QUALITY APPS with a bunch of ads.

It really helps to pass exams!!

Best study app I’ve ever used! I’m a medical student, and honestly, studying can get pretty overwhelming. There’s just so much to learn, and it’s hard to figure out what to focus on. That’s where AnkiPro has been a total lifesaver for me. The spaced repetition system is genius, it makes sure I’m reviewing stuff right when I need to, instead of wasting time on things I already know. What I love most is how easy it is to use. The app lets me create my own flashcards, which is perfect for tailoring everything to what I need to study. But if I don’t feel like starting from scratch, there are so many pre-made decks to choose from. It’s a win-win! I usually start with a pre-made deck and then tweak it to match my course materials. The design is superclean and straightforward. I didn’t have to spend hours figuring out how it works…it’s all pretty intuitive. Plus, I can sync it across my phone, laptop, and tablet, so I can study literally anywhere, even offline. AnkiPro has honestly changed the way I study. I feel more confident going into exams because I know the material is sticking, and I’m not just cramming the night before. If you’re a student, this app is 100% worth it.

Great app! Please add more features to individual cards…

I use this app regularly for studying and I really enjoy it! However, it would be really great if there was a way to move individual cards around between decks, or a way to duplicate cards so you can have the same card in multiple different decks. Currently the only thing you can do with individual cards is create and delete them. The app only allows you to move entire decks, so if you want to reorganize your cards or move a single card to a different deck, you just have to remake the cards in a different deck. It’s really time consuming and frustrating to have to continually remake the same cards if you change your mind about how to organize them. It would be much easier and more convenient if you were able to move individual cards around at liberty, or able to easily duplicate a card. The way it is currently makes organization pretty inflexible. You’re unable to change the placement of cards once you make them.

Please consider adding these features! It would definitely help make using the app easier, more flexible, and more enjoyable.

Just to let you know, you can already move cards between decks. This feature was released in the latest update. Bulk adding is also coming soon!

Additionally, we are planning to add a "copy card" feature in the near future. Stay tuned! 😉

Pretty good

Overall this app is great. I like the thing when you can choose whether you are learning stuff as if to pass the test or learning a language when you are is on VIP version. Also when the VIP version is turned on, you can add a feature where a AI voice is pronouncing the word; this is really helpful especially when you're learning language and dont know how to pronounce a word. But the thing I do NOT like about this voice is that it is fully pronounced by AI and so you do not hear this symbol stress this is not helpful. There is one more thing about this app. It is that after an update, my folders that I created to learn words literally disappeared. I was SO FRUSTRATED about it cuz I had so many words in the folder. After another update, that folder with words came back but another disappeared. And also that after an update you lose your streak. So it’s your choice whether you want to or not to use this app. And I am want creates to improve the problem.

Problems

Thankfully,I feel that providing all of things that we need to improve are so difficult but in two months later I had two massive problems which I wanna you tackle them as soon as possible such as;
Firstly, you don’t have rtl (right to left text) and all of text with other languages especially Arabic has been ruined and I am not able to read them properly.
Then followed by, I can’t select group of cards ,which I make them, in my deck. you suppose that for moving 100 favorite cards into other decks I should enter one-by-one card and send them with extremely boring. I can’t filter and choose all of my cards
Finally, when you listen tts, you may upset because It’s not natural speaking especially British and American and this feature makes not me more enthralling and more exciting

For TTS, you can actually select a more improved voiceover version by going to your device's Settings - Accessibility - Spoken Content - Voices and download the pack that sounds more pleasing to you.

Ridiculous Limit

Disclaimer: this app pushes you to leave a review RIGHT AWAY, gives you some things you like to pick and then forges a raving review for you to just copy and paste. You will quickly notice the same generated format in the reviews, this may affect your reading of them.

Now my review: I really was hoping to have at last found an app that has great flash card learning but doesn’t cost me a fortune. Noji seemed perfect what with pre made decks and their spaced repetition algorithm, but I soon ran into a huge bummer. There’s a 50 cards a day limit?? Ok maybe if you’re only using one deck ever that’s fine but that makes it virtually useless if I want to study at a faster rate or more than one topic. Completely ridiculous I can’t just use their basic algorithms without subscribing. I can understand charging for AI and their special study modes and add ons but this is really disappointing. Could probably have any amateur coder throw together the same program for me pretty quickly.

Has a lot going for it but it’s not for me.

Not associated with Anki

I wrote a reveiw explaining that I bought this product thinking that Anki Pro was the Pro version of Anki. It is NOT. It is not associated with Anki and I can NOT use the thousands of cards I have created over the years that is synced on my devices with Anki.
I received a cut and paste answer:
"Hi there! It's important to note that while there are many different Anki apps available, AnkiPro isn't affiliated with any of them, and you can't sync your progress between different apps. I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Maybe you could tell prospective buyers this "important note" BEFORE they click to buy?? Well, it IS AN INCONVENIENCE to think that a product with this name does not work for me. Two choices given to me were to write another review, or "contact the developer" with a link that does not provide an email or phone number which which to do so. I just want to cancel this subscription and move on. Can you PLEASE just refund my money and cancel my subscription? After trying to cancel, my phone still says it is "expiring on Feb 14, 2025." I have not used it, and will not use it.

Am I missing something?

I bought a lifetime subscription hoping to use the AI feature to convert notes into cards. But then I was directed away from the app and towards a common browser whereupon, after uploading the document that I wanted to use as study material, I was prompted to (I guess) manually highlight, one by one, exactly what material I want to study (which kind of makes this seem like a variant of Quizlet or other tools on which I can manually create notecards).

But when, when I tried to copy the text that I wanted to use for study material, the entire screen turned blue, as though I was trying to copy the entire screen.

Am I missing something? This doesn’t seem like AI. I thought that AI was supposed to build notecards on the basis of the documents that I uploaded. If I’m going it all manually, then how does AI factor into the process? And even then, I can seem to get anywhere manually because I can’t even copy text without the entire screen turning blue. Am I supposed to this via a computer or a larger tablet instead of a phone?

Sorry for the possible trouble! Of course the feature isn't supposed to work this way. Generally, when you select the necessary text you should be able to just click it and just the necessary card type (normal or fill-in-the-blank etc) and the card will be automatically generated. Additionally, you can use the Auto-generate feature which will allow you to create a whole batch of cards with the help of AI based on your document 🙏🏻
