Noovie Trivia 12+

Rewards have been piling up since started playing. Support said the recent update would fix. It hasn’t. The last communication from them basically says the issue is on my end, which I’m 1,000,000% sure is not correct. Reset, nope. Reinstall, nope. Checked Settings and everything is turned on for this App, which I normally don’t even do for my most trusted Apps. Every single other App, Site, search, etc is working just fine, as always, on both my phone and iPad, both before and after the Reset. Except this App which still won’t collect rewards on either. There was an acknowledged issue......they did an update.....the issue remains.....”it’s not us, it’s you”......hmmmmm, really?....

Overall the format is good but I have two gripes. First. a screen shot from a film is shown and it could be from any of the films in a franchise, and the options to pick from are all the films in the franchise. Like, I’m looking at a close-up of Groot and I have to choose which Guardians of the Galaxy movie it’s from. It could be literally any of them. So it’s a pure guess. Second, they often try to trick you with spelling errors, which have nothing to do with movie knowledge. So screen shot is displayed from a movie and the first option is the actual movie but with one word in the title misspelled and the correct spelling is another option further down. So I end up guessing wrong because I’m not doing a spelling and grammar quiz, I’m doing a movie quiz. If I were doing a spelling quiz I’d be more careful with how things are spelled. And it’s not even every question, just some of them. Like they couldn’t come up with 4 possible options so they lazily misspelled one.

If you are a movie fan, this is the ultimate game for you. The app has multiple trivia-type games and keeps me engaged for hours. I can’t think of another game that is so much fun — each game offers you multiple types of gameplay such as quest, daily and even multiplayer mode! I love the graphics and the different types of mini-games you get which I find very engaging and fun. It’s a great way to spend my time at home - it’s also a great way to know and learn more about movies you’ve not seen and remember the ones you have!
