HORRIBLE APP & SUPPORT!
First off, I’m a tier 2 tech support person, and am thus not completely hapless or helpless. However...
Couldn’t register the card in the mobile app, so I called North Lane. Support says one has to first set up/activate the account via the website. Did that then tried to log in via the mobile app. No luck, and in fact got locked out of the account.
Called North Lane again (on hold forever!), and was told I needed to use a DIFFERENT login for the app, and that they had unlocked my online account.
No way to set up an account in the mobile app using different credentials, and lo and behold, the ONLINE account was STILL LOCKED.
Worst app and company ever.
Worthless waste of time
Your login will never work on the mobile app but will work just fine on the desktop. It’s been like this for more than a year, long before Northlane took over. No one cares to fix it. They just hope you never use your balance so they can keep it. I am requesting that all my vendors who currently use north lane for their gift card programs switch to another company. Complete turn off. Look at the other reviews. I guess they don’t care.
Poor customer service
Spoke to a representative, after I attempted to provide my current residential address for the activation of the card, I was informed it was not correct. After providing my work address, I was told it was still incorrect. After beating around the bush, I provided my current residential area, I was then greeted properly... which was the same address I mentioned the first attempt! First time use, not satisfied with the customer service provided...
