Pretty good app for what I need

I do not do a great variety of things with the app aside from paying bills, checking transactions, etc. and it seems to work fine with that. The only thing I can think of that was disappointing was the fact that I had tried to send a friend some money to his bank account through the POPmoney and thought it would work as easily as most of the other transactions where I would send money to pay off another credit card, etc., but it wasn’t so easy. On my friend’s side he had to sign up for POP money service, and do a few things to make it work properly and I felt bad that I put him through that and probably should have just “sent him a check”. Other than that the app has been fine.

I’ve used online banking apps since they started. I can honestly say Northwest’s is the worst. Hands down. I never chose Northwest as a bank, my accounts were just passed along after First Niagara was bought. Since the beginning, the length of time it takes purchased to show on the app are unacceptable. Days...sometimes weeks. Then sometimes when s purchase posts, it will disappear a day later. Sometimes the balance will reflect it never happening, sometimes the money will be gone but not listed at all. I’ve also logged on several times to my balance being thousands in the red because my direct deposit disappeared for a day (after previously being listed and posted). When I called, the representative talked to me like I had 2 heads and I shouldnt be concerned my account is listed at -$3,700. I never feel like my balance is close to the point I almost need to keep a checkbook ledger by hand again. This was never the case with my previous First Niagara app.

This app needs a BIG update as its been over a year since the last one. I’m ready to switch banks over this crappy app.

iPhone 7: The U.I looks nice, transitions for opening the menu could be smoother, I deposited a check and it went smoothly, when I try to open a new account though, it tells me to correct the highlighted fields which are parts of my name, which I have more than one middle and last names (drivers license is “fun” to get too lol) however the box is grayed out and unable to edit at all. I don’t mind going down to the bank as it’s close to me but could be a lot easier. Also the website it takes you to, to add accounts could have a cleaner updated U.I. But it is easy to work with now. Also THANK YOU FOR ADDING TOUCH ID THANK YOU. Also sounds like you need a new programmer. This is a serious business and to make this app stable so the other reviewers can enjoy it perfectly all the time 99% of the time at least. Sounds like you’ve got an softmore intern
