Este componente digital para el juego de mesa de interacción social basado en el episodio NOSEDIVE (Caída en picado), permite a los jugadores seleccionar Experiencias que pueden aumentar o disminuir su Calificación social.

NOSEDIVE es un juego de mesa híbrido en el que los jugadores roban cartas físicas de Estilo de vida y, al mismo tiempo, utilizan la aplicación para controlar su Calificación social. Al final de la partida, los jugadores sólo puntúan las cartas de Estilo de vida que su Calificación social permita.

Los jugadores utilizan la aplicación NOSEDIVE durante la partida para ofrecer varios tipos de Experiencias. Luego valoran esas Experiencias dentro de la aplicación, aumentando o disminuyendo la Calificación social de quién les propuso la Experiencia. La aplicación NOSEDIVE también realiza un seguimiento de la Calificación social de cada jugador a lo largo de la partida, lo que afecta directamente a la puntuación de las cartas físicas de Estilo de vida al final de la partida.

Could Be Good But Is Far Too Overcomplicated

My family and I were really excited to play this as fans of the black mirror series. Immediately, we found it hard to understand the instructions & became pretty frustrated with how complicated the game seemed to be. The “lifestyle phase” was confusing. Even once we’d figured it out mostly, it’s quite boring. The “experience” phase was our favorite part! You get to show how well you know your friends by pitching them experiences you think they’ll like from a limited selection. They then anonymously judge the best and worst. We laughed and had a lot of fun during these phases. Unfortunately, the confusion toward how to actually play to win sort of ruined the fun.

I think this idea has so much potential! The hybrid between app and board game kind of seems unnecessary, but it’s not the worst part of the game. I just think it needs to be re-evaluated a bit.

My family and I ended up having a bit of fun, but I honestly don’t think I’d recommend it.

Overly complicated

This game is over complicated. The app should walk you through the game as you go, but instead you’re left to decipher the complicated instructions. The concept of the game is good, but we were so confused trying to figure out how to play it. For a game focused on social media and technology, it depends too much on a poorly made game board and written instructions. Would not recommend.

Review of the app: not the game

First off, the app works fine. It’s sort of cumbersome that I have to pass a phone around. I’d much prefer everyone download their own version of the app and answer questions by themselves. Maybe passing the phone could be optional. It was uncomfortable playing with people who I didn’t necessarily want to have control of my phone while it’s unlocked and open.

The game isn’t all that complicated. Whoever gets the most stars is the winner, whether the stars are high or low. Your social points (which is the only thing that matters for this app) just determine whether you get a leg up or down in the game. You could technically play this game without the app. Hope this helps anyone confused.
