This app has a better writing feel compared to Goodnotes, but is missing some important features. In my opinion, the organization features are quite limited, and there is no whiteboard option. Furthermore, you guys should add an option so that the eraser does not automatically switch back if you let go of the squeeze to erase, and instead the app should let you squeeze once to switch to erase, then squeeze again to switch back to your previous tool.

Notability has always been my go-to app. Back in college, I used it to take all my class notes. At times, I couldn’t easily find notes I’d written in physical notebooks, but Notability made everything accessible in one place. The ability to use different colors and import PDFs made studying much more organized and efficient. Even now, as a professional engineer, I still rely on it—it truly makes managing notes simple and seamless.

I have been using Notability for several years and love the functionality. The problems I’m encountering in the past few months seem to revolve around updates made to the app. It appears that every time an update is made, the app has problems downloading my notes on my iPad. I keep getting a message to update the app, but it is updated. If this keeps up I’m going to be forced to switch to another app. I simply cannot afford to lose my notes when my business is so dependent on them.

Its a great app except when it oftentimes freezes and the copy/paste feature also oftentimes stops working. Its frustrating when it happens because you are in a flow of productivity. I understand this happen with technology. I usually do not complain. However, I have not received help after multiple requests for assistance to correct situation. Hope they get better with customer service because its an awesome application that I use for everything.

Honestly, I started using the app thanks to a classmate while taking anatomy and it changed my life. If you’re a student trying to find a way to use your IPad more efficiently for school, this is a great app, and I really recommend paying the 20$ for the year, it gives you access to flashcards based on the notes you take, as well as being able to take mini quizzes on those same notes that are generated by AI. 100% worth the download and 20$ annual subscription 😁

This app stores all of my notes and documents for all of my classes. I was hesitant to move from paper to a digital form of note taking, but notability made that transition a lot easier. Its easy to organize, add templates, create templates, and customize my notes to what makes the most sense for me. The only feature i wish this app had is i wish it was easier to change the color of my sticky notes and that i could save my favorite colors in the sticky note menu.
