Description

NoteExport allows you to export notes from the NotesApp to any location you choose. You choose which folders and accounts you would like to include in the export.

Notes can be exported as PDF, Markdown, RTF, or Microsoft Word Documents. Attachments and embedded images in Notes are included and are exported at original quality.

What’s New

Version 1.8

Better handling of Attachments:
* Some users were experiencing issues with certain attachments not appearing in exported format
* To help alleviate this issue, there is now an option to export all attachments regardless of format. Attachments may still not appear in line in the exported format but will be made available alongside the exported Notes.

Not particularly great, but works

Formatting from Apple Notes not maintained (generic font) and image attachments are kept in separate folders that don't load when markup files are opened in another note program like Bear. When you export as PDF the images are embedded in the files but they are cropped in weird ways based on the length of the lines of text. However if you have tons of notes as I do (over 700) then exporting them in these various formats can at least be a starting point if disaster strikes. So in other words, Note Export works, but could work a LOT better.

Good for text

Does provide Markdown, RTF, PDF and Doc formats. If you only have text notes, this is great exporter tool.

If you have attached PDFs, they are not exported. I've had to manually save and reattach my PDFs in new program. JPGs export, but you have to reattach them to your note in your new program.

Contacted support but heard nothing.

Just what I needed!

It's the only utility of its kind that I could find, that can export as RTF or DOC formats. Quick, easy. Maintains most formatting (don't expect checklists to translate, though. They export as bullet points)

My only beef is that I wish it captured the time stamp of the note in the body of the exported note, or had a preference option to retain the original date as the "create date" of the exported documents.

I don't use attachments in Notes, so I can't tell you how well that feature works.
