I bought this app because I want something that will transcribe the note while I’m listening and it doesn’t do that but I do see that it will transcribe the notes after it’s done and we’ll make a summary too. So I guess I’ll see how it works. let’s see if I put the hashtags in there. Maybe it will go to that place on the notes that would be good.. Your AI help section doesn’t answer any of my questions so now it doesn’t work. This is looking good so far I think.

Noted is a great app in conjunction with any digital note app that you choose. It’s its own thing and I’ve had it for a couple years and I use it all the time. I even have the widget ready to rock ‘n’ roll anytime I need it. The improvements made on the app, our exceptional staying cutting edge with AI. I highly recommend it. What more do you want me to say that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

I’ve been looking at AI regular and powered transcribers for a long time. Several others make you purchase an expensive device (a Bluetooth microphone) AND pay for an expensive App. Not necessary with Noted. It’s fast, great features, accurate and affordable.

Used this app years ago and it was great. Downloaded it again to record a lecture, which it let me do in the basic mode which I’ve always used before, but now won’t let me access my recording unless I pay for access. This is very deceptive as I’d have just used something else if I knew I’d have to pay a minimum of $7 to access my own recording, which it’s holding hostage. There’s not even a way to access my data to download if I delete the app. I’d give zero stars if I could, can’t believe an app I used to rely on and love would be this shady. Would have been fine if they’d just said up front that playback is paywalled.

The fact that dictation processing happens in the cloud and requires a subscription is really annoying. The user interface has a bewildering number of buttons and it isn’t instantly clear what each button does. Most bring up new menus with too many options. There’s things like a gear menu and a hamburger menu visible at the same time, or a record button and a microphone button on the same screen. If your cursor is in a text field, you still may need to manually open a keyboard. Dumb design choices are everywhere. I frequently found myself wondering how to do something as simple add text or god-forbid dictate to the dictation app. Mind you, I could figure it out after some tinkering, but this is a note taking app and it shouldn’t need a tutorial or a manual.No one needs half these features. The features that are needed aren’t the design priority. This is shoddily done. These people aren’t selling an app, they’re allowing you to pay them to keep developing their half-baked project. They got me suckered into a free trial and I still couldn’t find the premium features. Yikes.

I truly believe this app is the perfect app for anyone in school or who is in a professional atmosphere where note taking is important- honestly you could even expand that to include anyone, using this app to organize their day to day life in general. I love how organized you can be, recordings, text notes, pictures all set into specific notebooks. There was an issue I had where I had accidentally placed my recordings from one of my notebooks into the “archives” and I could no longer share them with my classmates or continue to use them in the way I had been. I could not for the life of me figure out how to move them back into the folder I had intended them to be in, so I sent an email to support and they got right back to me explaining how to fix the issue! I was very impressed to say the least:)
