Does not support google two-step authentication
Worked perfectly before I enabled two-step authentication. There’s no way in the app to authenticate it, so it gives me the error “wrong user name/password” even though I know its correct.
::UPDATE::
Apparently google provides application specific passwords when using two-factor authentication. Search for “application specific password for gmail” and you’ll find out how to do it. It gives you a generated password that you put in for the applications you use with google. I just did this for notification for gmail and everything works perfectly again. I’ve updated my review to reflect this.
No Longer Works For Hosted Domains
Used this for years with my google-hosted domain but it no longer works, reporting "invalid password/username". Fails even after generating a specific app password for it.
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work. Sometimes it notifies when there’s a new email, other times it does nothing. Please fix.
