Notion mail on desktop is a great inbox, the mobile version is lacking. Can’t add categories or sort on the mobile version (unless I missed something) and I really wish I could have all my Gmail inboxes under one roof and have them neatly organized. I have two notion accounts for different companies I work for, and I’d love to have a more seamless connection for my inboxes. Excited that this app is out but likely won’t use it until they make some big updates!Love the notion team, keep up the good work.

  • Where’s the iPad app?

I’ve been very excited about both this and the calendar app, but both are missing a dedicated iPad app. With the growing number of people working almost exclusively on iPads I would think (or hope) Notion would push out a real app for iPad on par with their great Notes app. I hope this is coming soon, but considering how long they’ve now owned and have been operating the Notion Calendar app since it’s Cron days without pushing an iPad app, I’m unfortunately not too optimistic.

  • Slow

Kinda slow processing through the app. Love notion so I’d like it to work out but it’s hard. App will crash occasionally when I open it. And switching between Gmail accounts is sometimes tediously slow. Opening email from lock screen is slow to open and to mark as read in the app. It’s a less robust feature set than desktop app for sure.

  • Issues with laptop vs phone

Got a great framework but man it needs a lot of work…. I’m not sure why notion is so darn slow to fix these issues…. I need my emails to be filtered with my AI filters on my app on my phone too… not just on my laptop. I should be able to customize what emails I want to see on my phone but I can’t. I have to open my laptop just to customize.. and then nothing gets changed on my app (emails I don’t want to see still showing up in my inbox…) Also you can’t use multiple emails together in one inbox… suckssssss!!!! Man notion you gotta fix these issues!

  • Needs work…

I wanted this to be good, and it could be. But it’s a ways off from where it needs to be. Unfortunately there are way too many bugs for it to be used reliably right now. A few things need fixed before I’d consider using it again.1. Support a unified inbox, or at the very least if it’s staying separate it’s got to be faster to switch between accounts. It is impossibly slow to switch, especially on my Mac.2. Offer cross platform support for iPad, not a small iOS app version that doesn’t work well with a trackpad or keyboard.3. Fix the bugs. Recently I’ve been getting duplicate notifications for every single email and that’s impossible to deal with. Also, there have been two times in the past week where it has removed all of my accounts except for one and made me add them all back in.It had potential, but it wasn’t ready to be released yet by any standards. Maybe in a few years it’ll be ready.

  • Still Very Buggy

I love that Notion Mail has finally arrived for iOS but this was not ready to leave beta testing in my opinion. I have at least one issue every single day that I use the app, whether it’s new emails refusing to load, emails displaying blank pages, or the view function not displaying emails with a certain label. I’m constantly having to restart the app or wait a few minutes and then come back. I’d like to be able to delete the Gmail app on my phone but I can’t rely on this app to reliably deliver my emails.

Hi baltazaralexisSorry about your experience. If you are open to it, can you send an email to team@makenotion.com? We have not been able to reproduce the same issues that you encounter but want to make sure it works for you. Thanks.
