Description
Warren buffet apparently said ‘The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything.’
Notnow is for managing everyday boring tasks, activities such as renewing the car insurance, making a bank transfer, buying washing-up liquid.
You don’t really want to do them, they’re time consuming and tedious but they appear to be an inevitable consequence of modern life.
The problems with these tasks is that if you do not record them you may have a nagging feeling you need to remember them, the problem with recording them is that you may a have nagging feeling you need to do them.
So what's the best approach with such activities, save them all up and do them at the same time in a single short burst of effort.
Notnow facilitates the grouping of such tasks to be done at a future point in time, during either the current week, month or year.
You can label these periods as you wish, users commonly use labels to denote the end of each period for example Friday or Sunday for the weekly tasks, perhaps 28th for the monthly task, so you know it’s the same day every month, and maybe Christmas or New years for the yearly tasks.
It takes a bit of discipline, sometimes on a Wednesday you may feel like doing a weekly task to get it out of the way, but as you’ve recorded the task you can be assured it will definitely get done, so you should get on with more interesting, more valuable.
As well as the benefit of being able to forget about this tasks you should be able to complete them much more quickly, e.g. you only need to log on to your bank account once to make the multiple transfers and set up direct debits.
Warren buffet apparently said ‘The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything.’, well unfortunately it’s not that easy for most of us to do that, but until a time that you can, Notnow maybe the best option.

Ratings and Reviews
Horrible App with a decent idea
Wanted an app to remind me for recurring items that aren’t daily or weekly tasks. Things like changing fire alarm batteries, draining septic tank (every 18months), etc.
This is not the solution. What you see in the sample screen so what you get (not very customizable). No reminders, no options for things that need to be done every two years, for example. The sample screen shows two unlabeled toggle switches which is what the app has. What are they even for? Looks like it was designed by a 10 y/o or designed in 10 minutes. Save your money.
