NPCGen5e is a tool for fifth-edition Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Masters. It randomly creates an NPC to use in your world, based on the rules laid out in the Dungeon Master's Guide and Player's Handbook, with a little extra flavor from yours truly!

Versão 5.1.1

Hello, fellow DMs!
This latest version of NPCGen5e comes with some feature request, bug fixes, and some beneath-the-cloak improvements.
We won't bore you with the nitty gritty details, but this version should be faster and more accurate in general!
For those that wish to know the technical details, continue reading. Otherwise, may the dice be ever in your favor!

New Features and Improvements:
- Users can now affect the height of NPC portraits in their saved NPCs list; to do so, head on over to the settings tab

Bug Fixes:
- Filters were not showing up when the filter button was tapped on iPad; this has now been fixed

Update fixed iPad filters

The filters now work and so this has become much more useful!

Hey there, perwin! Just wanted to let you know that this was an unfortunate side effect of a previous version. I’ve corrected the issue and filters should work correctly in v5.1.1. Let us know if you run into any more issues! Thanks, Michael Craun

Spectacular app, can't wait to see where it'll go

As a fairly new DM running a custom campaign, NPCs are a pain to come up with, especially on the fly. Once i got the app I almost immediately got the platinum version (what a steal at so cheap!) and haven't looked back. It's great at what it does, and helps a ton to figure out what kinda person that merchant is going to be.

That being said, I hope the app continues to grow and become more in the future. It has some issues still, but for a small developer making this app, I love supporting it and I'll happily use it in my games.

Fantastic app when it’s not crashing.

I’m running this app on both my iPhone 12 as well as my iPad. In both cases, it works well up and to the point that you try to use any filters. As soon as you tell the app that you want a particular race, level or challenge rating it will crash and reload, losing anything you were doing. It only successfully generates a character one out of 10 times. If the crash issue could be fixed, this could easily be a five star app.

Thanks for the review, CarterB103! I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the application, but I just wanted to let you know that v5.0.1 was released on July 18, 2022 and thus far, according to crash reports, users are 100% crash free!
