Depending on your cell carrier
This app on theory is great but it depends on your cell carrier if it works. I would like to see the off line content like the Yellowstone Park App that alerts you to an upcoming location (see other app). Also, app developers if you could build in data (it erupted most recently or at this time) in the gps alerts like in Yellowstone app.
In theory, a great app as we used it for planning but no help once in the park.
Waste of Space on your Device
This app is useless. There is no cell service or WiFi in Yellowstone (except for a couple lodges - then you have to pay for the Internet time). And Old Faithful is the only one of the 6 predictable geysers that the app covers. Don't waste your time...
The app is a great idea - but utterly useless. There is almost zero cell signal at Yellowstone, nor is there wifi except in very specific (i.e. 4-5 spots park wide) spots. Thus, the idea of having the geyser eruption times on your phone does not work at all. Great idea without the infrastructure to use it.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
