NSLookup is an internet utility to get domain's DNS information. It will help you to find the target IP address of a domain or see what name servers are set on a specific domain.
NSLookup for iPhone and iPad allows you to see the public DNS records of domains or sub domains. Then you may also query the NS and CNAME records. It's also possible to force it to get an authoritative response from main DNS server of the domain.

👉🏻IT WORKS. A helpful GUI for performing the tasks!
This has been so helpful in my quest to uncover the crazy adware and domain fronting issue I have. A couple of lookups and boom! Gotchya! That suspicious CDN server I found in the network traffic logs masquerading with a TLD is really a crappy ad server with sketchy host! NSlookup does not lie, people.
Look, The app isnt 100% perfect but Its darn well good enough. Especially if you got suspicions about any domains.
So hats off to the dev, heck ill go get the paid version. This is better than doing it via a console anyway. And and it barely crashes. Ever. I use it daily!
Used to work well. Now it doesn’t
It used to work well, but now it always queries internet dns servers (usually google dns) and completely ignores any dns server that I specify in settings.
I need an app to verify dns on a local, private network. This app is completely useless now that it ignores and refuses to contact my local LAN DNS servers.
Even internet DNS responses often fail to display proper A record information
Fantastic when you're diagnosing an internal DNS server and don't have a workstation in front of you.
