It said at the top of their app page simple as 1-2-3, install, insert, start read-write.

f you do this, you can not write. You can already read without the app.

Here are the actual additional steps:

Step 4: launch the app: (Even though it said in the description "without launching the app, then you can start reading and writing.")

Step 5: subscribe for twenty dollars a year, with a three day trial. It does say this in the expanded description, if you first press "more."

Step 6: install additional software that bypasses the protections of the Apple App Store.

You can not write during the free trial unless you install the additional software. There may be more steps, I stopped at that point.

Bypassing the store seems pretty common for drive utilities, but I wouldn't. It is deceptive that they sell through the app store, but require you bypass the store to actually work.

Also this app should not appear under "free apps." A free trial is not the same as being free.

Will NOT let you run trail to evaluate.

First I tried to download the App from their homepage, and when I wanted to activate the free trial, I kept getting a message saying that their servers 'couldn´t be reached, too busy´, so no, no trial evaluation.
I wrote to them and asked about the 7-day trial and they promptly replied that I should ´get it from the App Store´.
I did just that, and now it will not let me get past the monthly payment screen.
It offers a 3-dat trial if I post a Rating and write a Review... Here, this it it.
Still, I must BUY a monthly subscription...
So, no chance to even try the software.
But also, the name of the software compay ´íBoysoft´and their reply doesn´t quite reads and feels right.
So NO, I DON´TRUST this App and this company.

We think you misunderstood it, iBoysoft NTFS in App Store is a subscription, you can try it free for 3-day before charging from you.But before trying it, you need to subscribe it. If you are not satisfied with it, you can cancel the subscription before 3-day free trial is expired. We have updated it to V1.8 with a new free trial mode, please reinstall it from App Store and try again.
