Neuro- sleep doc ,

Needs lot of patience and TLC

From being able to understand nothing I said in terms of neurological or sleep related vocabulary, in three weeks, using vocabulary, review and correct and substitution options I have been to improve dictations to 67-95 percent of the time. Yet it tends to make same errors over again as typing daughter instead of total. The software needs a massive infusion of medical vocabulary and names of medications and disease processes. Yet pricing is very attractive and support exceptional.

A product with significant shortcomings

This product lacks a fundamental component that effects productivity and efficiency significantly. The inability to make changes/corrections within the text box is a huge flaw that should be easily correctable by IT designers. In addition, the fact that one cannot “voice” changes slows the process significantly as well. After three weeks of using nVoq (vs dragon with previous owner) it is still making an average of 10-14 mistakes per dictation. This requires an additional 4-5 minutes per dictation to type in corrections.
