Star Banner

It does report more local news than the printed version

Not a fan of this app. The way the articles are arranged is very unattractive and annoying to navigate. Also, where is the search option to find a particular article in the app? Where is the ‘contact us’ option in the app? I would have just sent an email about this instead of leaving a public review but I couldn’t find a link in the app to do so. Seems like a ‘contact us’ option would also be a good idea to receive local news tips from the community....

This is the worst news app I have ever seen. Way to many ads. The same article shows up multiple times as you scroll down. There is no rhyme or reason to how the main page is presented. And forget about trying to look at the obituaries, you just get hijacked by the company hosting them and spammed with so many ads you want to scream in frustration. The app gives more attention to high school sports than anything else going on. Really pathetic for something that’s supposed to be a news app. No wonder it’s nickname is The Star Blunder.
