Frustrating

Love the dive computer and the app is a great idea but it is frustrating. The biggest bug is that half the time I have to put the next day for the date to save right. Even if I sync the dive from the computer the time and date come out wrong.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your comments and we’re happy you like S1. We haven’t seen this date problem before, and would love to help you out. Please send us an email at team@oceans.io and we’ll get back to you.

Has some bugs and not sure it’s ready for US Divers

Overall I like the Look and feel of the app. But Location features are a bit sketchy. Unable to add personal Location. No address or even zip code entry, only pin drop but it does work, same with adding Dive Center. Dive Location works from the satellite/maps pin perspective but only displays Site Name and UNK for the Location but shows pin drop. I assume that UKN means UNKNOWN or United Kingdom? Also, doesn’t have any NAUI Certifications, you can manually add but it would be nice if it would at least have option to submit a request to add the official Cert Names to the drop down so divers have some consistency in naming standards...or maybe comments to the developer in the app? I have high hopes the app gets some updates soon. I also ordered the Oceans S1 computer and excited to use it. Really hoping the S1 gets air integration in a future update!?

Developer Response ,

Hi Buck! Thanks for your comments and support, we think you will love the Oceans S1 dive computer. The dive center tagging is one of our newest features and uses automatic naming of nearby water and city, it mostly works fine but looks like it missed here, we have updated the locations for you. We’re working on the next big update of Oceans that will be out around the same time the S1 is shipping.

Best,
Team Oceans

Great new app

Its a great new app and I can see how it could fit into the dive community. Adding some features like discussions and others may make this an even better app. As of now, its pretty simplistic with the basic essential things for yourself, but I could see some more community and social interaction being added soon! Cant wait to see the future of this app and community!
