Description
The Odessa (TX) Police Department’s mobile application is an interactive app which will help improve our communication with the citizens of Odessa, Texas and surrounding communities. The purpose of this app is to improve our ability to communicate with our citizens Information which will include, but not be limited to Major Incident Push Notifications, NWS Weather Alerts, Community Events, Employment Opportunities, Important Contact Information, Sex Offenders, Crime Maps, and more. Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering creating relationships with Community Members through the use of technology, the Odessa (TX) Police Department will achieve our mission of ensuring Odessa is a safe place to live, work, and visit. This app is not meant to be used to report emergency situations. If you have an emergency please call 911.

It has severe weather alerts galore but hardly any crime or accident alerts. We currently have 2 known lock downs and NOOOOO alerts what’s so ever. Deleting now!

Thanks for your feedback. We do our best to provide updates on major incidents, however our application is monitored and utilized by our staff who are unable to send updates for every incident. We'll do our best to continue keeping the community informed. Thank you!
