I use to use this periodically in my area (I’ve got a young family). But I guess it’s been a while since using it because when I opened it today, I had to get past like 100 screens (swipes, taps, etc) before I even got to use the app. Much more fear mongering than before, sooo many unnecessary screens I had to get through before getting to want I wanted to see. And then… it was saying I had to pay for an account (it’s normal to see if people want a paid version, but they made it sound like that was the only option. It wasn’t made clear right away how to go with the free version). Finally asked for a review from me less than 2 seconds into being on the dashboard/map. Haha, well…. I’ll certainly leave you a review. I’m sure the actual app is great. But this feedback and poor review is for your onboarding. You need to seriously re-evaluate it.

As soon as you open the app you are hit with a paywall where they have a premium subscription. You cannot use the app for free whatsoever because they only have one option to use the app and thats their premium subscription. Where the scam comes in is when you choose the 3 day free trial. Canceling it after is nearly impossible. They hide cancel subscription buttons and claim they can’t find your subscription to cancel it. “We couldn't find a subscription for your account. If you recently subscribed, it may still be processing, please try again later or contact our support team for help.” So then you have to reach out to their support team to which they obviously don’t respond and you do get charged $7.99 and it keeps happening every single week no matter how many times you email them to cancel it. They also don’t do refunds so even though you have been attempting for it to be cancelled they still won’t refund you. I highly recommend not using this app it will likely be a headache for you. But the app does work and it is informative as long as you don’t mind paying 7.99 a week and not being able to cancel it.

The app is cool and it’s very interesting to see what’s marked around you. The only problem with this app is if you do any type of subscription, you get no confirmation of it, it does not display on your Apple account under subscriptions like every other app does. Most annoying part is, in their app under manage subscriptions, it showed I had no active subscription. When they charge your card you get no email receipt either. So I ended up having to file a claim with my bank to block future transactions since there was no indication anywhere I had a valid subscription with them. Lo and behold thanks to another review I figured out how to cancel it which is super complicated. You have to delete and restore the app to have them email you a link to get to the manage subscription. Not worth it at all.

This app has so many accuracy issues it’s not even funny. I found dozens within just a couple minutes of messing around on the app. Many females listed as males. Black guys listed as white and white guys listed as blacks. Guys names and info with a picture of a female. One of the people’s charge was completely wrong because I know his case and how creepy he is but this app made him look like a minor offender even though he raped a 2 year old baby! Disgusting. Go somewhere else. Don’t trust the info here. Do your homework and fact check any info you use from this app because all these errors are just within 10 miles of my address and I found them all within a couple minutes so I’m sure there are thousands of inaccuracies!!
