Buggy app
The idea behind this is great, but the app barely functions. I can’t get it to even get past a loading screen now. That keeps people from being able to view/enter homes listed. Just needs some TLC.
Couldn’t believe it
I couldn’t even believe how fast it was to download the app and just go check out the closest for sale home. We just started looking and the house in our neighborhood wasn’t for sale very long, but with the ease of the app I was able to get in and get out with no problems, took my time looking at the rooms with no real estate agent making me feel nervous, and I got to see it when I got a second in my schedule without having to coordinate with anyone else. It was great, I just wish there were more houses for sale that had it!
BEWARE
The app is not user friendly, terrible and confusing. Despite huge advertising on their properties saying “SELF TOUR” you DO need a realtor to tour the homes. Despite calling, asking for access 2 different people at the call center told me I couldn’t access without an agent.
I submitted a generous offer on a property. They took FIVE days to respond “they decided to go forward with another offer” yet the property is still for sale. I would’ve gladly offered more but after reading their reviews I trusted my gut and walked away. I’m now purchasing a larger home for the same price I offered on the Offerpad house. Unless you want MORE stress on top of your house hunting experience I’d highly suggest staying away from this company.
