Ratings and Reviews
I’m hoping they keep this app going and thriving
I am doing this review for my unbias, I do not do bias reviews unless I have complaints.
This app for listening to your favorite songs is amazing. The only annoying thing about this is the advertisements gets in the way, and I like how it is just easy to add songs right away. By using the search bar by searching for the exact song you are looking for. The annoying thing is whenever I find a particular song is I do not like nightcores or cover songs by people. I wish to only listen to songs by the original singer than people who covers those songs.
Overall, this app is great to listen when you are on the go. I’m bit concerned if you can use this offline, so please make it offline friendly if possible.
If you want to listen to specific songs or albums, this isn't the app. As far as I can tell, the search engine only displays single tracks in the results instead of whole albums or artist libraries, which isn't helpful for browsing (in case you don't quite remember the name of a song, but would recognize it when you saw it). This could have just been an isolated incident, but on the first song I tapped, it asked for a five-star rating to unlock all the songs. I avoided that by adding the song to my "Favorites" playlist and tapping it there. The poor navigation is manageable in my opinion, however, the ads are not what you think: multiple times during a song, a video ad pops up over the whole screen with a five-second countdown before you can close it, and the audio from the ad plays over the song that's playing. This is a awful for the listener and the advertisers here because nobody can understand neither the ad nor the song. To put the icing on the cake in this review, the volume is quite a bit louder than playing the same track in iTunes, so it's a bit too much for me even at the lowest setting.
I downloaded this app because I was going to be on a plane ride and needed music to listen to. The moment I’m disconnected from the WiFi at my house and my song ends. I can’t hear anything. My first thought is “oh it must be loading! I can wait.” 5 minutes later I get antsy. I open the app and the music isn’t playing. “That’s weird” I think as I select another song from my playlist. Same problem. I turn on my data and select a song and it starts to load and play. Yes this app allows you to listen to music offline but it’s only 1 song 1 time. And you have to manually restart the song before it ends even if you have it on single loop, because if the song ends then it won’t play anymore. I don’t know if this is a bug or something but if your going to make an Offline music app have it so that you download a song and then you can listen to it offline. Or at least your able to listen to a song continuously on loop without having to manually restart the song before it ends.
