OffScreen: Screen Time Control 4+

This app is awesome… BUT

This app is great for tracking and storing long term data for screen time usage. I personally use it to set goals for annual screen time reductions. One feature I REALLY wish they had was the ability to filter screen time based on application. I am trying to lower my smart phone usage but if I am driving a lot and have Google maps up I don’t want that data to be included. So if you developers are reading this.. please please please give us a way to filter/log data based on app. It would be perfect with this addition!

Needs to be investigated

App was working as advertised but some immediate things I noticed were: It wasn’t simple to turn off anything that you turned on.
Notifications or disabling the restriction on an app. Even after location was accessed (which is not needed for this apps purposes) it kept asking for more. I turned it off because I got worried but it kept bugging me. Eventually I deleted the app because it wasn’t that helpful in decreasing my screen time. A few hours after I did that some of my apps started completely blocking me from accessing them saying that “app is restricted”. I got extremely confused and turned off screen time and on airplane mode but nothing was turning it off. Then I went to iCloud and looked everywhere to find restrictions, until I finally found something under Screen Time. There was a setting that allowed the app to “restrict this iPhone”. AFTER I DELETED THE APP. How is this app allowed to access and even control your phone after you supposedly “deleted this app and all of its data”? Please make this app more restricted and, users, don't allow this app all permissions. It’s kind of shady.

We apologize for any confusion caused. OffScreen is designed to help control screen usage time and assist with reducing phone addiction. Due to system restrictions on iOS, we do require location access in order to accurately record screen usage time. However, we do not monitor any user activities or personal information. We understand your concern and will work to improve the app to make it more user friendly. Still crash when opening

Since almost a year before, the app will crash when I open it. Thought all these update, tried many of versions, still not fix the issue. Maybe I just not allowed to use it, by some reason. Tried to email them for support at few months ago, the response was “they also don’t know how to fix it”. If it caused by iCloud, I think maybe they could send me a TestFlight version with iCloud sync function disable? And try to flush my old datas (I said that I’m accept to drop old datas in the email)? But, the problem is, after all these time, seems their developer doesn’t interested to fix this anymore. Ehhh, just because I’m the just one user? not that important to them. Even I install it and bought it from very beginning after this app released. Whatever, that’s what I want to say. Bit of sad.
