## Now Free because Oikon2 is out! ##
Oikon is a simple expense tracking app.
It's meant to do just that. No budgets, no complications.
You open it, add your expense, and that's it, no wasting of time.
Other expense tracking apps are confusing and with way too many settings. Oikon focuses on the essentials, nothing more. It's a pleasure to use.
This is meant to be a complementary app for the iOS version (in order to facilitate reviewing expenses for a longer period of time), but it can be used without it.

Bug fixes for El Capitan and Yosemite (if there are issues, please reach out, I can only test in Sierra!)
Reverted the multiple windows added in the latest version — you can now only keep 1 window open at a time, as it generated quite some confusion.
The "Add Expense" and "Settings" screens should look better in El Capitan and Yosemite now.

The app has been made great again!
Great App! Simple interface and user friendly. The new version fixed a problem with the “add expense column” that was on the older version.
No instructions, no sync
The interface is simple as claimed. The iCloud sync feature between the OS and iOS did not work at first. The developer provided quick support and after a couple of brief emails, I reset my iCloud account that fixed the issue. The annoying part is that there is no instruction on how to set it up. If you close the OS app window, there is no way to bring back the interface without quitting and relaunching the app. I will love this app if these issues are resolved. It is a great simple no-nonsense app for keeping track of expenses.

Thank you for writing in. Hopefully at this time the app is a little clearer to work with, and it's now possible to keep multiple windows open, but the iCloud problems are related to Apple (they've deprecated the method I've used in this app to sync data).
Right now I'm working on Oikon 2 for Mac and that's why this app is Free, which will have synchronization with CouchDB-compatible servers so people can share expenses as well if they wish.
Just what I’ve been looking for!
This app is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for! I’ve long needed something simple: I did NOT need an app that paid my bills or linked to my bank account. I did NOT need an app that facilitated my tax preparation.
This app is ideal: simple, elegant, and so easy a caveman like me can use it!
