Okta Verify is a lightweight app that is used for 2-step verification so you can confirm your identity when you sign in to your Okta account. This gives you an extra layer of security so that you - and only you - can access your applications.
When you sign in to Okta, you can use Okta Verify to obtain a temporary 6-digit code or to approve a request notification sent to your device (your organization must enable notifications to use this feature).
Okta values your privacy. Okta Verify does not store personal information - we request permission only for your device camera, which is used to scan a QR code to register your device with Okta.
* Enroll in Okta Verify as a new user by registering your mobile device with your Okta account.
* Add one or more Okta accounts that require Okta Verify for authentication.
* Manage 2-factor authentication for non-Okta applications and web services that require the use of passcodes.
* Approve or deny sign-in requests on your device from a push notification (if enabled).

Great concept, but...
I love that my company is integrating two-factor authentication on our accounts, but the fact that I had to install, uninstall, and reinstall this app for a twenty minute period to get the registration link to function with the app was an extreme annoyance. If Okta’s registration links actually functioned with the app once the app has been downloaded - the first time - it’d be a lot easier to handle. Push notifications also don’t always allow access as they are intended to.
Maybe this needed some extra time in beta.
Push Notification no longer works
Used to be a great app. However, with the new build and a phone reboot, Push notification no longer works on my phone, and more importantly, on my watch.
**** - Update. Upgrading this to 4 stars from 1 star. Shorty after I submitted my original review, the developer contacted me in order to troubleshoot the problem with the app. After trying several solutions, nothing worked. However, recently, it just started working again. Thank you for reaching out to fix this problem.

App Could be Improved
My company makes me use this app to log in to practically everything. It would be nice if when you tapped on the notification while your phone is unlocked that it took you directly to the approval page of the App, instead of the home screen of the App. Either that, or the buttons need to be moved so the “Add Account” Button isn’t in the same spot as the “Yes” and “No” buttons are on the approval page. I’m constantly hitting the “Add Account” button when I intend to hit “Yes” because it opens the main page first. Drives me nuts!
