The Oktoberfest app for iPhone and iPad
Oktoberfest – the city of Munich’s official app
Welcome to Munich’s official Oktoberfest app – with more info and tips on the Wiesn than any other app! For example, you can find the first comprehensive site map and many other exciting features for Wiesn fans. For visitors from abroad, the most important content on the app is also available in English, Italian, French and Spanish.
Features of the app
Be the first to find out what’s new from our news feed. Stay up to date, share posts with your friends and catch the highlights of the Wiesn via our live stream. Find out which tents are giving out “lunchtime Wiesn” discounts. And take part in our giveaway: We do a prize draw of Wiesn tables for every Oktoberfest weekend, including food and drinks vouchers, exclusively in the app.
Which tent is where on the Wiesn? Where is the nearest kids’ ride? Get a complete overview of the grounds or search for specific locations. Our live barometer shows you how full the tents are at any moment. And with the new indoor maps, you can even zoom in on some tents and find a space to sit more quickly. In 2019, this feature is available for the Armbrustschützen tent, the Schottenhamel festival hall, the Hofbräu tent and in Kuffler’s wine tent.
What’s going on when at the Wiesn? Here you can see what’s on offer between the tapping ceremony and the final gun salute – and where you can carry on partying after the tents close.
Here you can find helpful and humorous info about the Wiesn, including opening times, program, Oide Wiesn, reservations, family and children, camping, hotels, rides, safety, disabled access, traditional costume, Wiesn workouts and much more.
Getting your bearings on the Wiesn isn’t easy – until now. Use the friend finder to mark your location on the Oktoberfest map, add a more detailed description if you’d like, and instantly share the marker with your friends via your favorite messaging service.

Ratings and Reviews
Not as good as the old one
Doesn’t have the count down. Uses your location for event times instead of Munich time.
Developer Response ,
Hi Rossetta, thanks for your feedback. You can find the count down again, in the top on the left side. Best
Language support is minimal
Nice layout, maps, overall highlights of things like opening times and do’s and don’ts. But all tent details and news items are only in German, with no option to translate except tedious cut/paste into a language app.
Everything you need to know
All Infos you need. Cool indicator in which tents it is currently stuff happening.
