Ollie: AI Smart Photo Cleaner 4+

I’ll admit I haven’t stuck with the discipline even with this app but I’ve been busy. I was one of the first users even before they changed the name to Ollie but I’ve seen this develop into a great product and backed by a responsive team. Definitely worth a try as it breaks up the process into little chunks to make your photo library much more useful.

Also someone else asked for a lifetime subscription but I’m not a fan of that model since it means that developers are not incentivised to keep updating the app in the absence of fully paid “versions”.

Wanted to like it with the ad saying ai did the work but still have to review individually whereas Hash groups them into exactly the same, similar, etc for me to review. This app is no different than going through each of my photos directly in photos and choosing to favorite or trash/keep. Not willing to go past the three day mark to see if actually does learn my preferences and still personally would want to review before it was permanently deleted so for me it didn’t work. Additionally I am so tired of everything becoming a subscription cost I would rather support apps that charge a one time fee, doubtful The tech companies will get the message as I’m sure they get enough subscriptions to make it worth their while to continue to try and force that model but I am willing to go without most any of them rather than pay a monthly/yearly fee.

For an AI program that isn’t likely to provide many updates or improvements, I don’t see why it has a subscription. I would prefer either a free option with adds or allowing users to do a one time purchase to access all features.
Otherwise it has simplified my photo clean up significantly. I run a meme page on instagram and have a lot of videos and memes that I don’t really need clogging up my phone making it hard to sort and find photos that I want to show people. This format makes it less taxing to go through and clean everything up, and offers a sorting function in app, which is nice.
