TV Listings Guide America 4+

Being able to select only the channels you want see is a great feature, so you don’t have to scroll through all the cable channels you don’t get.
There are two problems... One is that you can’t swipe through a channel’s listings for the whole day and night, just a few hours, and sometimes even that ability freezes up. Two is that it is very difficult to see the channel numbers and some of their logos because they are grey on grey, please make them black. Actually, a choice for a black background would be good.

I have this app on an iPad. It’s laid out in manner that’s easy to read. I can fine tune it for the channels that I’m interested in. I can read the content for each show. I can mark my favorites so I’m alerted when they are scheduled. But what’s driving me crazy is that I cannot slide the screen sideways to view the entire selection for that range request. I have tried moving to favorites or channels and back again, and sometimes this works. But like today, sometimes it Doesn’t. So I know what’s coming on at 6pm ( when I Don’t watch tv) but I have no clue what’s coming on later in the evening when I normally view the idiot box. 🙁 I have even deleted this app and reinstalled in an effort to correct this. That wasn’t a fix. I have deleted this app in frustration and searched for another app but couldn’t find anything else that I liked as well. So here I am with my favorite tv app that may or may not show me if anything worthwhile is lighting up the screen tonight. Life is so much more than a tv box but isn’t it nice when the small things can bring us joy?!

I have an Antenna on my roof with free over the air TV. I get over a hundred channels and this app is fantastic since I don’t have a good cable guide. The over the air program guide Scrolls soooo slow and lists everything. I select only the channels I watch and I can scroll as fast as I like. The particular shows synopsis has the IMDB link that 99% of the time go directly that show or movie.
YES, as in other reviews, It has frozen from time to time. I have learned all I have to do is hit the guide button at the bottom of the screen and everything works as it was without losing my place I was at.
