"A must for any guitar enthusiast….from beginner to consummate pro.” (Ryan Roxie)
"...have to see to believe...Yes, you read that right: Just sixty minutes of studying, and POOF! You’ll be able to play them all...remarkable product…” (Apple Magazine)
The need of learning "irrational dots on diagrams" by heart is eliminated by understanding the simple logic of chord construction.
OneHour method is not a chord generator, but it turns your brain as one. In one hour you’ll throw your 256 pages 10 000 chords chord dictionary into the fireplace and laugh at chord generators.

"An absolutely genious way to learn chords, and not just chords, This method unlocks the pattern / chord-shape-stuck guitarist's thinking and allows one to construct chords, scales and arpeggios easily and in the most logical way possible. It helps one to understand why certain things sound how they do and helps to see how intervals, chord shapes and inversions are connected to each other. Honestly, this method is all you need to learn ANY chord or arpeggio there is. Most importantly, the method is FUN, rewarding and once the method is learnt the system starts feeding itself, so you'll never ever forget what you've learnt with the method, you'll only get deeper in seeing how the fretboard works. Sounds too good to be true, I know, but I learnt the guitar with the predecessor to this, the Only Complete method. Understanding chords, arpeggios and scales through the method has been the biggest "EUREKA"-experience for me in my 15 years as a professional musician. It made me realise that chords or scales aren't hard, they're completely logical and learning them is easy. This method unlocked the fretboard and the how I approach the guitar in general for me, I highly recommend this App to everyone, from beginner to pro player."

Improved user experience. The app has received a facelift. Minor bug fix.
Ratings and Reviews
Great but not worth the money for the extra features that should already be included
Great app, would love to have the advanced features considering the fact that I tune down a half step, play a few things in drop D and use a capo from time to time, but there’s no way I’m paying $5 for those features. I can’t afford it at the moment and probably wouldn’t pay that much if I could. Great for theory, but doesn’t work side by side with my guitar or with my setup.
Will continue to use for theory because I haven’t found a better app for that yet but if I find one that I can get what I use in this app as well as the features I’m looking for, I will probably remove this app.
Unless you all include these features for free before then
Simple and brilliant
I've been partial musician for most of my life. I say partial because I can play multiple instruments moderately well but have never had a good grasp on theory, which has hindered my ability to play comfortably.
In less than an hour, this app has made all the theory lessons I've had over the years mean something. The pieces just seemed to click in place. Absolutely worth the small amount of money the developer is asking.
I hope they continue to make more apps!
Developer Response ,
Thanks for your kind words. This really was the goal. Making theory understandable. Understanding the basics makes the progress rapid. I never stop wondering how simple things can be educated complicated. Yes I am struggling with another app, which deals with chord progressions not limited in "diatonic" chords but using also modal borrow chords. The seven diatonic chords are shown everywhere, but if you use only them, your repertoire is very limited. Please search "Clever Music" in April, I hope it is completed then.
Music Theory Tuition Paid
Truly awesome app that not only identifies chords and lets the user have full authority to build extremely complex chords but also serves to “truly” teach the user “music theory” while simplifying complicated chord progressions.
I’ve reviewed other sources and found by far that the “one hour method” app is the most accurate and user friendly.
Highly encourage upgrading to include the “capo,” “special tuning,” and “chord guesser.” Also truly take advantage of the required short lesson prior to using the app and utilize the educational lessons and tutorials included with this app.
