I worked for three months! When I first started, I delivered to a fixed location 5 days a week. This lasted 8 weeks. Then they changed my location! Instead of the same company I always deliver to, they wanted me to deliver to three different locations where I had to make deliveries. I am a 58 year old woman and I never gave up! I mostly delivered meals and three different locations. Sometimes these packages were 70 or even 100, but I still made the deliveries on time. Then one day, they suddenly stopped giving me a route. But whenever they got in trouble, when a driver gave up on a delivery! They called me right away, it was almost noon at 12:36 pm, they called me many times and told me to make these deliveries and that since they called me late, it wouldn't affect my rating because they gave me the job late anyway. Then guess what! The next day, they said you were late and reduced the job I was doing five days a week to 2 or 3 days and asked me to deliver to a place 25 miles away from where I was. I said okay and accepted that job and delivered 60 to 70 orders very far away. My total commute to work was 50 miles and it wasn't really worth the $60. One day they gave me a route 4 days a week. Then after the first day's delivery! Unfortunately, the company you deliver to said they didn't receive the order tomorrow and reduced the 4-day route to 2 days again! Now no route has been given for two weeks. I sent messages and emails to Forkable headquarters, no one answered! I think someone inside, maybe a lady who gives training, got obsessed with me somehow. I've been using DoorDash for years and I've never seen such a problem 🥲

Hi Nahisa, thanks for detailing your experiences for us. Onfleet builds the software but we are not directly involved in your employment, and it sounds like the issues you have faced are connected to your relationship with your employer and not with the Onfleet Driver app itself. We're sorry that you haven't had the best experience, but I would suggest that you get in touch with your employer with these concerns so that the relevant parties know about the situation and can hopefully help clear things up.

I’m sorry but logistically Onfleet needs to get it together. I’ve been using this app for several yrs and I am so sick of the constant U-turns or delivering on a one way street dropping off at the end of the block to then realize the next delivery is at the beginning of the same block and this stupid app had me drive past it requiring me to now go all the way around the block to complete the next delivery. Or my all time favorite, delivering to a apartment complex to one or more customers. Leave for my next delivery only to be sent back 2 deliveries later to the same apartment complex I was at 10 minutes earlier. I have downloaded free apps from the App Store that create tighter more efficient routes than Onfleet. After completing several hundred routes all over the Bay Area and logging several thousand miles when Im contacted by a company to run a route for them and I’m told that they use onfleet I let them know that I will be using Circuit to plan my route not onfleet and on a handful of occasions when the company I’m delivering for insists on me using onfleet I politely explain my position and let them know I’m no longer available for the route I was contacted to complete and add them to my list of companies I will no longer consider for work. As I said in the beginning….Get it together onfleet, free apps are more efficient.

Thanks for the feedback on your routes, we're sorry to hear that their order has often been frustrating. Tasks are delivered to you in the order that your dispatcher assigns them. However, we do provide tools that allow dispatchers to optimize your tasks to avoid situations like one-way streets and multiple packages at the same complex, while reducing your driving time. These optimization actions can only be performed by your dispatchers and not directly as a driver in the app, but you also have the option of starting your tasks out of order if necessary.

  • Nice function but adding couple minor features would be helped

    ELB0326

The app seems to function well and does what it’s supposed to. I’ve only experienced a glitch one time and I was in an area with very minimal data service/cell phone signal, so I don’t blame the app for that. It would be helpful though for taking pictures of deliveries if there were more ways to actually take the picture, similar to how on iPhone you can click the side volume button to snap the photo. Sometimes in order to capture the necessary details required by my service, while at night in often dark areas, I have to use some strange angles and only have one hand to actually take the picture. Also, some additional setting so I could customize my list of tasks would be cool, to be able to select which information I want to display on the list for the tasks, or if there was an option for the full list or a minimized version. Overall though it’s a great app, runs smoothly, and is super user friendly.

  • TERRIBLE UPDATE.

    xenium1516

I’ll change my review if problem is fixed. I tried to contact support, but unfortunately they don’t have a complaint tab which caused me to write a review. New update for the iOS is terrible for two reasons. One, when I am driving I like to multitask to read customers notes really quick. I cannot see the notes from the multitask screen; instead I see the onfleet symbol over an opaque like screen. Second, while I am on a call I cannot complete any task since all that is shown is an opaque screen without the symbol... basically the app crashes when I am on the phone which I would have to kill the app and reopen it. Very annoying since this was not how it was before. It’s like this new update caused onfleet to take a few steps back.

Thanks for reporting these issues. We will need some additional information about the crashing behavior that you're reporting here. So that we can investigate with our iOS team, can you write to us at support@onfleet.com ? We can help from there.

  • Inaccurate millage readings

    619mark619

I’ve been using this app for a couple of weeks and have been comparing it to my odometer and google maps. It’s become quite clear that Onfleet is under calculating my miles by 8 percent. I estimated that will be over $1000 a year I’m loosing in millage reimbursement. So that means this app will cost me $1000 a year to use. I strongly suggest anyone using this app or considering using this app to measure it comparison with other apps. I contacted Alex, lead engineer in the support department and he gave me the lamest response how it was my odometer and google that was wrong and when I pressed him with my evidence he simple didn’t respond. I’ll assume he is aware of the design flaw and chooses to ignore it. If you get paid for miles, save yourself $1000 or more a year and use a different app because this app will steal money from you. If you are a dishonest employer this would be an excellent way to steal from your drivers. You would be able to steal thousands of dollars a year. Check it for yourself I’m sure your results will be similar to mine this app is literally a rip off.

  • Simple, Intuitive, Almost Everything you Need

    TheDelta

It’s very easy to use: once you log in, you immediately see what tasks, if any, are assigned to you. Once you start a task, all the info about your drop-off is there: recipient name, destination notes, etc. The app gives you the ability to call or text the recipient, but it routes it through to company’s comms system, so neither your nor the recipient’s personal number is revealed.Cons: there have been times (not many) when I needed to pause a task, complete the next task on the list, then return to the original task. This cannot be done. Once you start a task, you have to complete it, mark it as successful or failed, and then it disappears from your list. The only workaround is calling dispatch and asking them to adjust things for you.Other than that, four stars.

I love the app i just wish we could create and add tasks through our phones and also when i try calling a customer through the app not only does it give me a number different than the customers actual number it gives the customer my number as a different number too.For example the business i work for is based in detroit when i arrived at the customers house and called him at the time i told him i would he told me he got a ohio number or chicago i can’t remember but my point is thats a whole different state and whole different number so other than these small issues the app is good with these fixed it would be 100%

  • Can be misleading

    concretepmp1

For the most part app is great. I think it’s a good system and I like using it. However I experienced today, it kept taking me in circles. When I would get to the destination, it would reroute me. Caused a major set back today. This is due my goal to deliver all packages during my shift. I understand there’s times your not going to be able to. With people working and other things. Everyone isn’t home all at once. I was determined to find it though, and I did. Good do a little better with organization of the routes, meaning all orders in that 10 mile radius of each other. Then move further away from that area. You will sometimes find yourself being sent back to an area you were at earlier to deliver a package. May be the sub contractor of whom your working.

    Developer Response

Hi there, thanks for detailing your experience for us. We would like to look into the task where you were continually rerouted to determine if this was due to our system or your preferred navigation platform. Please get in touch with us at support@onfleet.com with any task IDs that we can look into where you experienced this kind of behavior. As to your greater routing issues, we do offer tools that your dispatchers can use to optimize your routes. Let your dispatch team know that they can reach out to our support team and we will work with them on implementing these tools to best suite your needs.

  • Great Delivery App

    Jimmy LongMeat

Pro’s and Con about this app. Pro:Not sure how many company use Onfleet api but it’s probably one of the easiest to use and understand. Layout is pretty much kept to a minimal. Everything you need is right in front of you. No need to tap this button and tap that button just to bring up a map. Interface is not clutter with useless information that you don’t need. App hasn’t crash on me yet so it runs pretty smooth. Although at time it does get a bit warm almost to the point of actually hot. This is runnng off of a iPhone 12 Pro. Con’s:The only con I would say about this app would be the location on toggle button at the top. When you are ready to start your delivery. You would toggle to the left or on and you will see your assign task for the day. If you don’t do that then you won’t see the task at hand. Wish I don’t have to that just to see that assign task. That’s about the only con thing I could say about this app. So to sum it up. It’s a great app and is easy to use and learn. 5 stars to dev team and who ever else had a hand in this.
