OnIt is a simple app that helps you manage your tasks and stay organized in the most natural way. No emails, usernames or lengthy sign-ups. Install the app and start sending tasks to your contacts straight away.
Type it up, record an audio or video or simply send a gif - whatever your communication style, we got you!
- Forgot to get milk? Send your partner an audio task and we’ll make sure they don’t forget too.
- Need to pay the water bill by Friday? Set up a task for yourself and we’ll remind you until it’s done.
- Do you need your colleague to send you a first draft by 5pm? Send them a task and help them keep on top of it.
If others ever need help, they can send you tasks too - you can either accept or decline and we'll let them know.

Wish it could send a task request to people without the app
I love this app!! I just wish that if your friends don’t have the app that they could get a text message with the task request from the app!

You can indeed send tasks to people even if they don't have the app. They receive an SMS that tells them you've sent them a task and a link to download OnIt so they can action the task. For any other feedback or questions feel free to reach out to us at support@getonitnow.app.
No transcripts, no value.
If you record with this app, you’re stuck with an unlabeled recording you must play back if you want to know anything about it. Your recording is not transcribed. You don’t even know if the recording is 8 seconds or 30 seconds. You don’t know the date it was recorded. If you aren’t in a position to listen to it in its entirety you don’t know what it is. At time of writing, the app has no value.

Sorry to hear you're not happy with OnIt! Your feedback is great and we're in the process of releasing an update that will include task titles, creation time stamps and audio length so that should help with better understanding your tasks.
In regards to the recordings, these are audio tasks so our system will not transcribe them in the same way audio messages that you might send over different platforms aren't transcribed either.

Good product God be great
Not being able to combine text and a recording is problem some. Once you get a dozen recording there is not a good way to figure out what task. A task title was be a great addition.

Thank you for your feedback :) Task titles are on our next update, so that should be in the app very soon.
You can combine audio and text by using the notes inside a task. That section is meant to help you add extra information to any task you create.
