Description
The Opelika, Alabama Police Department mobile application is an interactive app which will help improve our communication with the citizens of Opelika and surrounding areas. The purpose of this app is to improve our ability to communicate with our citizens information which will include, but not be limited to News Releases, Staff Directory, Most Wanted, Agency Programs, Resources and more. Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering people through technology, the Opelika Police Department will be able to better protect our county. This app is not meant to be used to report emergency situations. If you have an emergency please call 9-1-1.

Very Present Day for a Small Town PD
Very cool for a small town Alabama pd to keep up with technology and offer this easy way to submit an anonymous tip. Several bigger cities don’t offer this kind of transparency and community involvement like OPD does.
Great Communication Tool
I am pleasantly surprised by how much information is included within the app. You can submit a tip anonymously and provide feedback. The push notification tool is great too!
